Default Will Marvel NOW! Make Marvelman "Superior"?

The latest Marvel NOW! series teaser is more mysterious than most, coming with no creative team attached and pitching retailers on the idea of something "Superior" in the offing. Could this be the long-awaited return of Marvelman?

My money says X-Title. Probably relating the X-Tinction Team.

When I think "Superior" with Marvel, I think Homo Superior. With Colossus off to X-Force, we're looking at Cyclops, White Queen, Magik and Magneto lately, all of whom lean more Mutant Supremacist than not at this point.

I'm betting this has zero to do with Miracleman/Marvelman.

Superior doesn't really fit with Marvelman. If I were asked to name a person most closely associated with that word, I'd say 'Magneto' and for a team 'The Brotherhood'...... Could be anything given how obtuse some of the recent teasers have been.

    Probably right.

They were doing Marvelman, I'm pretty sure the hint would have been Kimota. It's really the only way to go.

I think it is Marvelman. I hope it is finally Marvelman. But I am not convinced of it.
Silver and Superior...what about a Doom title? He is a major character and could hold his own book IMO, especially with the course Hickman had set for him and that pretty jewelry.

Very true. I'd still like to see more adventures and stories from them, and assuming they add a few others to that team--if it does end up being X-related.

    "Homo" Superior.

    This is an X-title.

Doom would certainly fit. I'm sticking with X-Tinction team, though. Curious who the writer could be, though. I will $&*+ four bricks if it's Gillen and they left it blank so as not to make it completely obvious.

Hm. Is it a big deal that they don't announce a creative team with this one?

I'd love a Magneto ongoing... Though, with no creative team, "Superior" could be anything.

Did Marvel tell people to jump on the "Marvelman" idea?

Well, it's not Millar, because he would already tease about it on this forum.

It can be Marvelman, but I think they would use "Marvelous" not "Superior". But if it's him and Gaiman is writing then the next year is his with this and a new Sandman's miniseries.

Most likely, it's something about mutants. Still, what comic book written by the author who is not working for Marvel at the moment can be described as the most shocking in 2012?

I think it's something to do with the X-Men. That, along with the Avengers and Spidey, are Marvel's bread and butter and we aren't getting Uncanny back anytime soon.

Besides, give us a Miracleman omni or a couple of HC's before ruining the character in 616 continuity.
