One of the reasons I loved this series so much so far is the psychological. It's nice to see Mieville admits he has kept that in mind!
I write comic book reviews every Wednesday using pages from each book. Check it: Is It Good?: All the Best Books of the Day Reviewed!
Balls balls balls.
Bad for 2 reasons:
1. I LOVE Mateus Santoclloco's work on this series. I find it to be brilliant, and a big part of why I love it so much.
2. Can Frankenstein be long for this dreary mortal coil if they are putting Ponticelli on something else?

I thought Santoluoco was doing a really great job so I'm a little sorry to see him go, but Ponticelli is really good too so that's not too big of a loss.
Frankie's gotta be in dire straits over there. Prob getting cancelled.
EDIT: Also, these Bolland covers have been amazing. That one for #7 is crazy good.
Huh, I was dropping the book already, but the loss of Mateus Santoluoco really cements that.
I wonder if Ponticelli will have finished the Rotworld tie ins for Frankenstein, it would be really weird just to have a different artist on that last issue.
And yeah, doesn't look good for Franky. If there are four cuts, I'm gonna have to bet Frankenstein, GI Combat, Grifter and Hawkman.
Wonder what that means for Frankenstein. Hope that's not an indication that it will be canceled. If Santoluoco ends up drawing Frankenstein or any other book I read that would be great. From the previews I've seen his art is fantastic.
Sounds like Frankenstein's a goner. They held onto it longer than I expected though.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
I don't know if Santoluoco is necessarily shifting elsewhere in the New 52. He only really makes sense for a Dark book IMO and unless they are launching a new book I don't see what title needs a new artist or where he would work. I think there is a better chance he is leaving for some other project, and Frankie is done so they figured Ponticelli would be a good fit. Which I agree with, I think his style compliments Santoluoco well, they have similar strengths and styles. There have been some artist changes that I thought didn't make much sense (Travel Foreman to Birds of Prey, Jesus Saiz to Resurrection Man) or resulted in a huge drop in quality (Steve Pugh to Animal Man) but I don't see this as one of them.
Actually now that I'm thinking about it, that Foreman/Saiz/Pugh switchover that all happened at once is really the only artist switch in the New 52 that I didn't like. I think they've made fine calls besides that.

damn, damn, damn, damn, damn I knew Santoluoco was leaving Dial H eventually since he's been working on a TMNT mini for IDW but Ponticelli is so perfect for Frankenstein. D:
I hope Ponticelli will at least be able to finish the Rotworld arc for Frankenstein since he seems capable of multiple books a month. Like when he drew Animal Man 9(?) and Frankenstein 9 in the same month.
Honestly... I loved Unlown Soldier, but his Frankenstein work has been choppy a best. I hope it doesn't get canceled, though, because Kindt made e book good. Lemire was strangely dull on Frankenstein.
Sucks for Dial H, unless Ponticelli steps up his game. Huge shoes to fill, IMHO.

Looking for artists, know I won't find any. That blows.
And what about Frankie?????
It's OK for Dial H, it's a very well good book. But Frankie's better!!! I hope that DC will not use its "ROT" tie-ins to cancel the title at the end and send Frankie to the JLD...
For once, we have here a true like BPRD comic book!!!!!
2000 AD of course!!!All Hail The Mighty Tharg
Well, since #9 the art are from Alberto Ponticelli & Wayne Faucher. Maybe Wayne is now the main solo artist...
