Sounds good! Ive loved Palmiotti and Gray's Freedom Fighters stories. Though I wasn't a fan of the last Human Bomb's costume. Way too Darth Vader. This guy looks as if he won't even be in a containment suit.
I am worried they will completely miss the mark about military service and will continue to re-enforce some pretty unhelpful stereotypes.

Yes!. After the Doom Patrol, the Freedom Fighters are my favorite team.
Can't wait for the inevitable Freedom Fighters ongoing series.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
Ha! I'm the same way with DC.. Doom Patrol, then Freedom Fighters.. was very sad when they both got canned.
I still don't know if I am a fan of the complete re-invention of the characters.. but it does seem like they are operating with some master plan in place.. so I may check this out..

Looks pretty cool. May give this a try.
But what's up with HB's right arm? Why is it so freeking long?

It seems like Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti are THE miniseries writers for DC's new 52...
Kind of surprised they're still going with these FF minis. The Ray one sold terribly and I did not think the first Phantom Lady issue was good at all. If the purpose here is to eventually launch a FF ongoing, I don't get the feeling that will be very successful. I question how popular these characters are and how relevant they could be to the New 52 universe when DC is already loaded with team books and the last FF comic totally bombed just a few years ago, with the exact same writers.
I wish PG would get put on something big instead of minis that won't go anywhere.
This will be the only miniseries I will buy. I love the human bomb so yeah. I wished this version was Roy, but beggars can't be choosers.
The Phantom Lady #4 wasn't solicited into the Previews list for November, so what??? Again, something "a la" Red Circle which will not work at all and will be cancelled??
I would have preferred to read The Ray and The Phantom Lady into the DC Universe Presents, it was an insurance that there, the books were correctly published. And it's the kind of stories that fit well with this title.
2000 AD of course!!!All Hail The Mighty Tharg
If P&G are reading this: you may have been joking when you mentioned Plas at the end of the article, but as much as I love the new 52 right now, it's just so... serious. They desperately need to bring back some of their weird, funny, off-beat characters that made the DCU so great for so long. So yes to Plastic Man (and you two would be perfect for it). Yes to Uncle Sam. Let 2013 usher in the return of the Doom Patrol, Metal Men, Metamorpho (the real one), Elongated Man, Creeper, etc. Please!
These Mini-series seem to really be flying under the radar.
Pull list: Animal Man, Action Comics, Aquaman, Batman, Batman Inc, Detective Comics, Green Lantern, Justice League, Ravagers, Superman, Swamp Thing
I SO want a FF title again. Yeah, DC has a lot of super groups, but I think this title could be so good.
One great thing about P&G is them approaching existing concepts and freshening them up. I can't think of any titles they've produced that I haven't liked.
Yes, Plastic Man would be great. In fact, throw him into a FF title.
