I'm going to miss that costume on Cyke. And with the normal visor it even looks better!
No surprises here. I'm upset they're delaying AvX #12 just to ensure being #1 for October between Uncanny Avengers and AvX though. I wish the event were ending next week instead, like originally planned.
"Herbacious and Curvatious: I am SAGE!"
The only way this would end satisfactorily for me is if as they are standing around fallen Cyclops there's a bright blinding light and a portal opens. Cable is there with the biggest Liefeldish gun we've ever seen. "Nobody touches my dad" and he disappears with Cyclops.
I like the 'filled in' covers but I sort of liked the 'censored' originals too (the white outline in the alt for AvX 12 and the chalk outline for this one)
MOAR Cyclops??? Ugh.
Isn't it enough that's he's the centerpiece of AvX and we're getting a double dose of the clap, I mean Cyke in All Old X-Men? Come on Marvel! I've been waiting since AvX #8 for a SINGLE word about the whereabouts of Namor.
<insert annoyed fan entitlement sulk>
I'm pretty sure they said the delay, which I believe is only 1 week later that the solicit date, was a result of Joe Kubert's death. I guess Adam needed to take some time off for that so they bumped it a week. No biggie.
Siege did have a huge gap between #3 and #4, but that's Coipel for you. He gets a pass because from me though since he's the best in business right now. Pretty sure Fear Itself shipped on time all the way through. If anything, it might have had a week delay somewhere, but it never missed a month.

I beginning to think that poor fellow that was getting his brain removed in Uncanny Avengers was Cyclops.
Adults struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life when the answer is obvious to the smallest child: because it's not real. - Grant Morrison
