I do think the "Avengers" part of the name is completely unnecessary despite my excitement. But that's just to increase sales I imagine.

I shall likely read it, but I can't say I'm really excited by this.

People essentially have to die here, else the premise of the book fails. While I will look forward to seeing Darkhawk again, as well as the AA kids, and a continuation, finally, for the story of Cammi......the fact that people have to die makes me think what is the point?

Why do I want to invest my time in getting in to characters and enjoying them, only to find them dead?

The actual concept, the idea of a Battle Royale, or even more basically, a Lord of the Flies, with super powered kids, sounds like an excellent idea for an out of continuity gore fest mini.....but as an ongoing? Really?
