Default JSA: The Whistling Skull in December

Just saw on the Source blog that Tony Harris' long-rumored mini is finally being release in December. I didn't know this was a JSA book but hopefully this will make fans on the old DCU happy. I'll buy anything Tony draws so this is a no-brainer for me:

I guess this will be out of continuity.

Awesome, looking forward to it! I enjoy the old school JSA, and it doesn't matter to me if it's an Elseworlds story or "doesn't count" anymore. A good story is a good story.

So random. I still have the old link in my favorites from when it was a wildstorm project and I believe(?) it was just a straight up creator owned project, but this is kinda cool. I'm just really psyched to read it finally, not so bothered what universe it exists in or continuity or whatever. As long as it exists in its own bubble and I don't have to have read the other stuff that came before.

Never got around to reading the Liberty Files. Maybe this will finally encourage me to pick up the trade.

I saw the ad for this when I was reading Batman, Inc last night. I don't know anything the JSA or the Liberty Files, but I love the idea of something set in the time of WW II, so I hope our shop gets this in.
