I do wonder which writer was opposed to having Cyclops killing Xavier. I can almost bet money it was NOT Bendis.

They've been pounding each other senseless for 11 issues and when someone finally bit the dust, it's the non-combative peace-loving ex-cripple?

This comic keeps on delivering.

There's still no explanation as to why Xavier scorned Cyclops after he did nothing wrong. He created a worldwide uptopia with the Phoenix. He didn't destroy Wakanda. That was Namor. He didn't create the Limbo prison. That was Magik. Yet Xavier scorned him? And like the Avengers, just kept attacking him? That's like pounding a hammer on a beehive and then complaining when you get stung. It makes no sense. Xavier's death had no impact. This guy was shot in the head in Messiah Complex and he's been a very marginal figure in the Marvel universe since House of M. Killing him really doesn't have much impact because in the end it probably won't change much.

And I do hope that Cyclops and Emma's relationship is over here. If Marvel tries to keep them together after the events of this comic, then that's just proof they've stopped trying with this relationship.

I am pretty sure Helen Keller could write better crap than this garbage. To pontificate on the absurdness of this whole series, let alone Marvel as a company, would be as prudent as the death of Xavier. Unbelievable crap. What a joke.
