That is a really interesting Team 7 line-up. I wasn't expecting most of that at all.

Yup, I am like you. I wasn't expected "that"!!!

I think that I will give a try with the first 3 issues then, who knows, maybe a new DCnU titles into my very loooooooong pre-order list!!!

I hope that the T rating will not be a "do not cross this line". The Suicide Squad is good but not enough. The Marvel's Thunderbolts are much better in this kind of badasses vigilantes team.
    2000 AD of course!!!

This is going to be a hit! This is the anti-hero hero book. This is a likely response to something we couldn't begin to understand.

Assuming she hasn't killed anybody yet, please, DC, don't make Dinah a killer in this series... :(

I don't know if this was confirmed in-story, but I remember reading rumors (in-story, i.e. dialogue said by characters in the comics) that Dinah supposedly killed a dude with one punch, or something to that effect.

Maybe we can keep hoping they're only rumors and that she hasn't killed anyone after all?

In Team 7 #0 she and Drake shoot a guy in the scene where they recruit Waller. So...

Maybe he was just... wounded? :(

At least tell me it was justifiable homicide to save a life or self-defense or something?

Is there anyone left from the classic DCU who doesn't have blood on their hands now?

Canary is like a covert military officer or whatever in the New 52. It's not like she's going out and offing random characters. She does not appear to be bloodthirsty at all, and if this offends you that much I'd say move on to a different hobby or something.

With 4 chest wounds I doubt it.
He was a terrorist so I think it was justifiable.

I gathered that, though it seems kind of baffling and random for her. Still, does it absolutely have to mean she's killed people?

It's not like she's going out and offing random characters.
Of course not, and (while I do fret about it, as mentioned above), I don't assume she is or was killing innocents, nor that Team 7 would ever kill innocents. At least, I hope not.

She does not appear to be bloodthirsty at all
Well, that does put her above the current Wonder Woman, but that still wasn't my concern.

and if this offends you that much I'd say move on to a different hobby or something.
Honestly, why? (I'm not sure "offend" would be the right word here. I think the level of heroes killing in the new DCU, especially the traditional stable of characters killing, is depressing, a ghastly mistake, a bad idea, and the like, but I don't think I'd say I'm offended per se.) It's not like I'm walking around outside with a sandwich board that says "DC IS HAVING ITS TRADITIONALLY NON-KILLING CHARACTERS KILL TOO MUCH." I'm just posting about it in an appropriate discussion forum. Heck, I don't even have an intrinsic moral problem with some characters killing, like Wolverine or Conan or the like. But most mainstream super-heroes should not be retrofitted as killers the way too many of them in the new DCU have been, especially in the casual way they're doing it, without soul-searching or real repercussions. When Diana killed Maxwell Lord, it was a big deal that everyone had to wrestle with; now, she's even been retconned into having killed an ordinary, non-powered human being off-panel in the back of a JL issue. When the Guardians (who have been gradually revealed to be seriously, increasingly evil in the new DCU) decided to allow the GLC to kill members of the Sinestro Corps, it was a major, and troubling, big deal; now Hal is happily blowing off aliens' heads without even trying to take them down less violently. Something's gone horribly wrong with all this. Who knows, maybe this is the response a reader is supposed to have, or gradually develop, and it's meant to all lead to some new reboot that fixes everything down the line in a moment of glorious triumph of goodness over supposed expedience; I don't know.

And, again, I don't know for sure that Dinah really has actually killed anyone yet. Fingers crossed.

Crap. :( Well, that answers that question. :(

Er... you mean he'd already murdered people, and/or was just about to with no other way to stop him, so it was a truly necessary to save someone's life moment... right?

The terrorists were going to blow a zeppelin over a stadium full of people.
To comfort you, in another scene she could shoot the bad guys but instead she knocked them out Kung Fu style. Generally she wasn't written as a blood-thirsty mercenary.

Well, that's a start, anyway. Perhaps there was no other way to stop them from blowing up the zeppelin?

(It still does put blood on her hands, even if it was justifiable homicide. I think we're running out of mainstream DC super-heroes who haven't killed, and with this continuity being only a year old, that's a really disturbing trend.)
