Forgive me if I wait until DH reprints the DH Presents stories as a one shot as they have been doing with other properties. I love anthologies normally but the budget had no room for DH Presents. This looks good and I have been following Swierczynski on Bloodshot and will be following Ghost from DH as well. The explanation of where he's coming from made me think of Boardwalk Empire with a vigilante/superhero thrown in.
I'll check this out on the stand. I liked him when he would appear with Ghost and read a few solo issues.
Since I'll basically be done with Marvel once NOW starts, minus Punisher War Zone, I may get this anyway.

I was going to type the exact same thing. You know they'll do a #0 issue. I'll wait for that one. At this point, all the stories (except for Evan Dorkin's and the Crimson Empire III prelude) I specifically bought issues of DHP for have all found their way to being reprinted in regular form. At this point, I"m just going to naturally assume that will always happen with the big characters until it actually doesn't.
Camden New Jersey is such a $%&^hole that even Batman couldn't clean up. Let's see how X does! LOL. I'm from NJ, I can say that :p
I'm from Philly and worked in Camden for 3 years and that's the perfect model for Arcadia. It's a real crap hole. People high on "wet" killing kids. George Norcross III controlling most of South Jersey, owns the Philadelphia Newspapers, and chairman of Cooper Hospital. Police force being laid off so the county can take over. Campbell Soup is doing ok over there. Plenty of corruption there.
7And this is why DHP, after a really strong start, has really started to bug me lately. Instead of using the title to tell long form serial stories. Dark Horse continues to use it to jump start mini-series, which leads to fast turn arounds on one-shot reprints, which leads to this. People simply not buying DHP, because they know the choice bits will be reprinted as a one-shot in the future. This of course leads them to over looking the smaller things that don't get reprinted, and DHP slowly looses its relevancy. Which sucks.

Cannot wait. X was one of my favorite characters during the '90's, and I've picked up both the omnibi. LOVE this character.
I'll definitely be checking this out.
Yes, yes, YES!!!! Great news.
Batman, GL, Miss Fury, Uncanny X-Men, Hypernaturals, Witch Doctor, Casanova, Green Arrow, COPRA. +A bunch of trades every month.
Well, my wish came true already with the return of Ghost, but I remember X when he appeared in her original series. The preview looks great, though, so I'll give this a try.
Always remember this stuff isn't real.
If Swierczynski walks away from Bloodshot, I'm gonna be pissed...
Bloodshot, Judge Dredd and now X. Duane S is writing all my favorite characters.
Favorites: Fearless Defenders* New Avengers* Bloodshot* Shadowman* Archer & Armstrong
He has definitely embraced the Indy scene, and been kicking ass at it. I hope he has success here as well. X was a cool design but not much else in the 90s. Duane's take seems cool but may be too similar to the other vigilante and pulp books out right now for long term success. In the meantime I am down for the mini series along with Ghost.
VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
