    Default The Tower Chronicles

Featuring a lead character created by Legendary Chairman and CEO Thomas Tull, Executive Producer of 300 & The Dark Knight, and developed by Tull and Matt Wagner (Grendel, Mage), THE TOWER CHRONICLES creates a new mythology on familiar worlds through a unique take on the bounty hunter storyline. The collective title of a series comprising three books to be released in multiple volumes, the all-new IP sets the standard for future releases from Legendary. The trilogy explores the history and contemporary adventures of John Tower, a supernatural bounty hunter with a grim and secretive past that haunts his every action. Written by Wagner and featuring stunning art by acclaimed 2000 AD & Lobo artist Simon Bisley, THE TOWER CHRONICLES will set a new standard in supernatural action/adventure. Additionally, each cover of the series will be drawn by a world-renowned creator, beginning with the first cover which was done by Jim Lee.

Since it's a trilogy of softcovers, i'll just wait for the hardcover that collects the whole story. I understand they want to release more than 1-2 comics per year, but this doesn't really excite me.

Default Indies: Legendary's The Tower Chronicles

My initial thoughts were to wait until collected and then I thought this is Matt Wagner. So I'm on board and I hope the tie in with Tull means Legendary has some film work for Wagner Further Down The Road( insert Clapton or Trower guitar solo here). This kind of replaces Radical for me since they seem to have disappeared.

Matt Wagner is one of my favorites, so this was already a buy. Pair him with Simon Bisley, and I think you have something very, very special. (Although I'm not wild about Ramos' inks over Bisley's pencils in the preview-- it's not bad, by any means, but some of the essential "Biz"-ness seems missing.)

Ramos huh. Not a fan of the guy either, but I totally agree with about Biz's art. It feels a little too.. clean?? Anyway this is a definite purchase for me too.
