    Default Unsolved mysteries fans?

if so whats your favorite case mine is

the Calico disappearance. That photo of the two kids bound and gagged is nightmare inducing. I saw it once, probably on UM, and it has haunted me ever since. I actually saw it again a few weeks ago on a website about missing children, and was saddened to see that the case hadn't been resolved. It's just as creepy and chilling as ever. The looks on their faces...i will never forget.

That kidnapping case, was that the one where the lady went into the 7 - 11 after parking next to a white panel van, and then when she came out, the van was gone but she found the photo?

If that's the photo, I did see an update, but not on UM, it was on something else.
Originally they thought the boy might be the one who also turned up missing about same time as Tara Calico, but it turned out not to be him, as searchers found remains in the mountains where that family had been camping when he turned up missing. DNA proved it was that family's son, and they theorize that he'd been trying to rock climb and slipped.

But...that now leaves that boy in the photo unidentified, and I've not heard anything on tara either

This was one of the best shows ever. I love it. I still watch it on Lifetime. It is fun to see all the updates.

    Some of my favorites:

1- The same abduction you guys have mentioned. That picture makes the story.

2- The story about the 15 year that disappeared in the 70's, and the mom's quest through the Biker underground to find her.

    3- The alcatraz special

4- The murder of the guy at the truck stop phone booth, and the orange datsun that was connected to the crime.

5- The mysterious jello blobs that fell in (i think) washington state.

6- The treasure in vittorio peak. Not sure of the exact name but I am close. I think the woman that claimed it was named Babe Knox or something.

    7- DB Cooper

    8- The Queen Mary episode.

many more that I can't think of right now.

a kinda simuler story was that of a man who got hit by a semi and was pretty mutch stuck to the grill for quite some time till he eventually fell off on the road.he was paralized from the waist down.every sense then he's been at every truck stop looking for that ass hole who hit him.

Unsolved Mysteries would always give me nightmares.

Especially (since I admit I am a fan of the Golden Girls ;)) I would watch GG and fall asleep. UM would be on next and it would give me nightmares even though I'm knocked out completely. The stories get into my head while I sleep and I sometimes become a part of the situations in the show.

Its the only kind of nightmares I've ever had where I wake up, struggling to breathe and sweating. I otherwise rarely have nightmares, and if I do they're not that serious.

    Thumbs up

I like Unsolved Mysteries. Robert Stack was definately the man. I could listen to that man speak for hours.

Dont really have a favourite though. But I did love the shows about UFO's, Bigfoot, Sea Monsters, and stuff like that.

Cant say that I was ever really scared when US would come on the air. But I can say that when I was a kid, I thought the music for US was pretty damn creepy for some reason. Good stuff.

    Great show!
