Marvel has begun its teaser blitz for a second wave of Marvel NOW!, starting with Daniel Way and Steve Dillon targeting lightning for the newest teased series.

Havent read Way..but Dillon does not impress me at all. I am usually pretty laid back about art..but he is just BAD in my opinion. Hope its not a book that I would normally be excited for.

Yes, but they also stated that the Thunderbolts castmembers would no longer be featured in the title (Leaving only the actual Dark Avengers).

So, basically the Dark Avengers beat up the Thunderbolts and took their lunch mo- er, numbering, and it looks like the actual 'bolts will be spinning off of their own stolen title and getting relaunched in another title. Kind of like that time Black Panther slapped Daredevil in the teeth and made him go get new numbering.

I don't care what the book is, this team is a horrible fit for this teaser.

Please don't be Thunderbolts with Red Hulk.

I mean maybe I could deal with Way, but Dillon on superheroes never looks good to me. His art is always an immediate turn off. Why can't they give me Lupacchino?

I'm pretty sure it's Thunderbolts by Way/Dillon though. Justice like lightning and all that.

Yes but they just announced the Thunderbolts would no longer be connected to the book. Maybe so they could give them their own book again? Maybe bring back the original cast?

Also the crosshairs may mean Frank Castle is joining the ranks? Some speculated he might be joining X-Force but the T-Bolts seem like a possibility too, especially if the Avengers beat the tar out of him in War Zone.

Call me crazy, but after years of Jeff Parker, I want to see a new writer take on Thunderbolts.

Maybe this is the team book Punisher will end after War Zone.

I just...Way and Dillon? Ugh! All of the talented creators they could've called up. This is one of the worst creative team announcements in the last year at either of the big two.

Oddly enough, I expect this book to last longer than a year. I can't really think of a time Way's sunk a book to cancellation numbers.
