Pro Bowl starts soon. Rumors abound that the NFL isn't happy with the lack of effort in recent years and are thinking of ending the game if it happens this year. Really, just end it, if that's how you feel. These guys aren't paid enough to go out there and risk injury for a game that doesn't count.

A lot of players get a bonus for a pro-bowl selection. Does this mean if the pro-bowl ended all of those players would have to restructure their contract?

That's what I asked. I would imagine the NFL and NFLPA would need to come to some kind of agreement.

im watching some of the Super Bowl stuff, and seeing people in tshirts and being comfortable and it sickens me

can't wait till next year when the Super Bowl is in a REAL football stadium and it's 12 degrees

Some things to work on and make the Pro Bowl really an all-star game in a way.

1.) Keep it in Hawaii : The state gets a bit of a nice income from it and the players for the most part like the trip there. Before the game kicks off , I'd have some players followed. Some who have been there and maybe on their last trips and some newer players there for the 1st time.

2.) Shorten the game : Players are worried about injuries and the best resolution is to go to 10 minute quarters . It will be about having fun and playing.

3.) Does anyone remember the NFL QB Challenge ? That used to happen in the 90's before the preseason kicked off ? In it QB's like Jake Plummer , Dan Marino , John Elway and more would compete in passing drills like accuracy and more . Where the QB's competed for charities and had fun. I'd move it to the Pro Bowl and have all 6 Pro Bowl QB's compete in it. Like the HR derby we see during All-Star Game.

That to me would make the game more fun in a way. The Pro Bowl should also be moved to after the Super Bowl...a week or 2 after it.
