    Superboy 106.

Bought it right around my ninth birthday and was knocked out by the Pete Ross story.

I remember being impressed by Pete's loyalty to Superboy, and also by Superboy's ability to use his super-willpower to stop his own heart from beating.

So convinced was I that Superboy could do it that I asked my mother if people could will their hearts to stop.

Hey, I was in fourth grade and had just lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis the previous fall.

I actually own two comics from this month. Now we're cooking!

I'm not sure, but I think I've got Adventures of the Fly # 26. I like this thread because I mostly remember stuff that's this old, but it's new enough there's a chance that I'll have some books from a given month. I probably won't have more than one book every six months from the 55 year thread. And, since my parents owned a "Used Media" store in Chicago in the '70s and I don't index my collection, I have NO IDEA what all bronze age stuff I own.

The only comic from this month I have ever owned was Strange Tales #111 (I had all the Doc app except 110 and 114) but this was one I sold off when I relocated to Ohio.
