Looks nice. As I expected, this will be the origin of Mr. Terriffic--Robinson seems to be doing one origin per issue so far in this series. My initial thoughts:
- The art looks OK, although I'm disappointed it's not Nicola Scott doing the pencils. Her art is good, but is she the type of artist who needs a break every so often in order to maintain a regular schedule? Just curious how often we'll see a fill-in artist on this book.
- No insights on who the mystery "8th Hero" is from the preview, other than a hint that he/she has something to do with the Apokolips war.
- Wonder if this will be put before or after issue #1 in the first Earth-2 collection?
"Well, last night's episode was a very special episode. They revealed that the Incredible Hulk has an evil twin. And he's not green. He's red."
I wouldn't be surprised if the "8th Wonder" turns out to be Steppenwolf. It fits Darkseid's MO
(I probably should have said "Unknown Wonder")

Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.
There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.
I miss Nicola, but this art is pretty as well.
Pull-list: Action Comics, Batman, The Flash, Superman, Superman Unchained, Batman/Superman
I believe that Robinson said that there'd be a couple of one-shots to give Nicola a break after the first arc. The first arc was initially 5 issues but I think it's been stretched to 6 to extend the Grundy/Alan Scott fight. I believe the one-shots were gonna focus on Hawkgirl and the Atom respectively. Plans change all the time so this plan could have changed.
1. Superman
2. Wonder Woman
3. Batman
4. Robin
5. Catwoman
6. Supergirl
7. ?
8: Mr. 8 (Terry Sloan)
"With Green Lantern, it's easy to see now that characters don't go stale, the creators do. Get the right writer and artist on the book and success is always possible. - CBR member Brett Tolino"
From the way its stated in the preview, it lists the Wonders as:
1. Superman
2. Wonder Woman
3. Batman
4. Robin
5. Catwoman
6. Supergirl
7. ???
8. Terry Sloan
EDIT: Ninja'd.![]()
New DCU:
JL, JLI, Aquaman, Flash, Green Arrow, Batman, Detective Comics, B: TDK, Batman and Robin, Action Comics, Superboy, Green Lantern, GLC, GL: NG, RL, Teen Titans, Men of War, JLD
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Supergirl, Robin and Mr. Terrific make seven. That leaves only one of the original eight a mystery.
You are wrong this time ;) : the eight wonders are Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Catwoman, Supergirl, Robin, Terry Sloan and one other. I guess that means it's the 7th Wonder who I think might be Steppenwolf. (The one he refrains from mentioning for reasons those who know the war and world will understand).

The preview looks great. I'd loved to have seen Catwoman in action as well though...maybe we'll be seeing more of her in the actual issue.
Looks like dimension hopping is why Terry Sloan knows about Michael Holt. He beat Michael to the punch. Looks like Michael could be the 3rd smartest man on Earth 2 as well.
Looks like another solid issue from Robinson!! This is my favorite DC title currently. Along side All Star Western!
I'm a little disappointed that it's dealing with the attack form Apokalypse, I was hoping to see Earth-2 pre invasion. Ah well, it looks good. Though I'm already missing Nicola Scott's art.
