Issue 21 was awesome! Really loving this new group of kids and the possibilities they open up. Loved the group dynamic between them, everyone felt like they had identifiable personalities after just one issue. Good stuff.
My comicartfans.com collection. Lots of Ryan Ottley:

ugh, I hate to be the lone voice of dissent but this issue was a bit of a let down for me. Some 36 pages for the regular cover price, its a great deal. but after 21 issues I would at least like some hint as to what the heck is going on in this series. There are so many loose threads and no answers are being given, I feel like I've been pretty patient after reading the book for a couple years. Now we get introduced to a whole new cast of characters and plot threads. It's a little much. Maybe it all just reads better in trade...
I'm not going to drop the book yet, but I'm just getting a little antsy.
I enjoyed this issue. It's nice to see new characters introduced to the story and to be connected to one of the original six -- Jun/Hisao.
My only issue with this title is that it's not published as frequently as it should be (monthly) and can lose steam between issues.
But this issue is opening doors to more exciting story elements. I'm looking forward to seeing more.![]()
