Very cool! I'm all for this since Bishop was left in limbo at the end of the Cable series. Seeing as how Cable eventually came back in X-Sanction, I felt it was only a matter of time before Bishop returned. I think he's a good first villain for X-Force to face, but I hope in the long run he redeems himself. After seeing what Hope Summers has become over the past few years, I think Bishop was right. She is the mutant anti-Christ.

The first thing that went through my head was What the F**k, PUCK! I wouldn't mind Humphries but that line up holds no appeal to me. Now Cable and X-Force looks like it will be good.

I'm REALLY struggling to read Remender's Secret Avengers. Part of it is Ellis's run was so damn good the other part is me not liking Hardman's art.


Manimal film in the works

Well, there's another one of my favorite shows getting a film treatment DX

I actually like the sound of the new Uncanny X-force lineup. Being a fan of alpha flight it's nice to see some of the characters involved in other books as that is probably the only way i'll get to read about them at the moment given what happened with the last ongoing series. So that covers Puck. As for the others, well, I don't dislike any of them in particular and it's pretty cool that they're majority female. That could play into some really interesting group dynamics. I think the other main thing is that I like seeing some unique team lineups, and one including Spiral (a character I haven't read before) is certainly intriguing to me.

With that all said, it's all going to depend on the execution. As I haven't read anything by Humphries that means the creative team is going to be a question mark. For me it's one of the more interesting announcements within Marvel NOW. I guess the other thing I'm not keen on is having another X-force book even if it does look to be going in a different direction, although as I said the team lineup means it not quite so bad.

I understand some of the reaction though, especially with it following on from Reminder's run. However, from the sounds of it he has finished telling the story he wants to tell and I agree with Humphries in that it's probably best to take it in a new direction.
