Remember when Deadpool took bets at the beginning of AvX?
Well...
Pixar storyboard artist Bobby Rubio's Avengers Assemble variant!

Anyone who doesn't like Miles Morales is a racist.
Looks like Deadpool is the official hero of AvX. just look at him in his Phoenix costume.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.
Ah ok. Thanks. =) I love Urbandictionary.
It started with "The Search for Plawsky" as the title for the second thread. That mirrored the second Star Trek film "The Search for Spock." I think I suggested that one because Plawsky never posted on our thread. =p
Which reminds me:
Plawsky, I recently downloaded The Manhattan Projects #1 and Secret #1 for free on Comixology and they were both pretty good. I have to say that I enjoyed the art for Secret more, but the writing on The Manhattan Projects more. I'm unsure if I'll buy more, but they were both great reads. How have the most recent issues of The Manhattan Projects been?
Ultimate Comics • Aquaman • Batman • Batman, Inc. • Batman and Robin • Justice League • Wonder Woman • Star Trek Ongoing • Morning Glories • Saga
IT'S ABOUT DANG TIME!
Seriously, get more Manhattan projects. The art gets better (well, it's more that you realize more how perfect it is for the story; I've loved it all along), and the story gets even crazier. I loved the first issue, and it's probably by least favorite of the series. I can't recommend it enough. Every month, it's the best book I read.
As for secret, I've only read the first issue. I liked it just fine, but it was nothing mind-blowing. The twist was cool, but predictable. I'm sure there will be a lot more to it in the future, but I couldn't justify the money spent on it, so I'll have to check it out later.
But seriously, Manhattan Projects.
I like Ultimate Comics. - Read them with us!
I also buy: Captain America, Avengers, FF, New Avengers, X-Factor, among others
Not digging this new title.
Skottie Young is awesome! Anyone reading his OZ work, great series to have on your shelf and read to kids. I will be buying the baby title for sure it is a shame that he will not be doing art work for it though. Is it bad that none of the Marvel Now stuff looks interesting to me, it is kind of pushing me away from even trying more Marvel titles and I love Marvel characters more then DC's.
Smallville Season 11 spoilers!
Remender and Brevoort talk Uncanny Avengers
Kang, Apocalypse, AND Red Skull!!? O_O I had zero interest until now.

Lol ok. I'll probably download a few more. When the Japanese sent the little robot samurai through the portal I was like, "YES!" XD
I'm sure I'll grow to like the art though. The way he treats his lines reminds me of Chris Burnham's style on the new Batman, Incorporated issues. He uses a lot of random curvilinear lines that aren't really necessary.
The way that Hickman wrote Secret it seemed like it was a Bourne / Bond type movie. I just don't think the espionage thriller stuff works well in comics, but there are obvious exceptions. The coloring sort of bugged me in that one because each panel would use only one shade of a color.
Ultimate Comics • Aquaman • Batman • Batman, Inc. • Batman and Robin • Justice League • Wonder Woman • Star Trek Ongoing • Morning Glories • Saga
Hey MrV, you PM'd me asking if I'd like to be the first to post in your thread. Looks like I was! :D
But remember to try and make the next one Ultimately Off-Topic VIII - Beam Me Up Robbie and your golden! ;)
And I HATE Star Trek with a passion (although the new one by Abrams was good) but you gotta stick to tradition. Plawsky got really hated on last time by giving it a bad title but this time I think he's done an excellent job. :)

2000-2006: Golden Age of the UU
2007-2009: Age of Loebotomy
2009-2011: Post-Ultimatum Era
2011-????: Silver Age of the UU
Genesis/Evan doesn't necessarily have to become Apocalypse. Remember the whole point of his story is disprove that evil in inherent and show how society shapes evil people. In his case he could still fight off his transformation.
Also, there is that creepy woman who spits bees still carrying Angel's unborn child. That one could become the next Apocalypse too like Archangel did.
