I would rather Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch NOT show up in the next Avengers movie and not just because of the incest overtones. I believe the next new character in the Avengers movies needs to be Miss Marvel. Aside from Black Widow, the Avengers is lacking in strong female leads. Miss Marvel is Marvel's closest equivalent to Wonder Woman whereas the Scarlett Witch is an unstable, psychologically damaged woman and there are more than enough of those in other movies.

I don't sell or trade my movies but I like to have a physcial copy for pretty much the same reasons minus the kid part for now. I have never thought about renting movies before but my android can do that as well or the video store I can get 3 new movies for $5. As for music I bought one song so far and I don't really care to buy music as it is. So for me itunes is just a nice file system. I will say that when I get a DVD I try to look for one with a digital copy.

Somehow I got it into my head that Samoria_black was a Brit. Wonder how that happened.
Nope pure Canadian, though I wouldn't mind being a Brit

Or non of that could be in the movie and they are just brother and sister with that being the highlight of their relationship.

I was think about all the things I didn't know about comics when I started reading them like I had no idea comics only came out on Wednesdays and the shop I went to at that time never told me that until a year later and I used to believe that comics comics cross over at points, like if Ultimate human torch was in Ultimate Spider-man we would see that story when Ultimate FF caught up to whatever issue that happened in. Does anyone else have experiences like that?

    Iron Man 3 - thoughts & rambles

Robert Downey Junior dons the mask of Iron Man in the 3rd installment of his superhero series, which is a sequel to both his Iron Man movies and Marvel’s the Avengers. It’s a character focused story about who Tony Stark is and how his life has become larger than life, while alongside moving forward the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Mechanical engineered weaponry clashes with DNA-based bio-weaponry.

Shane Black takes over Jon Favreau as director with Drew Pierce as his co-writer; they both seem to have a lot of creative energy with introducing concepts like the Mandarin, the Extremis and Advanced Idea Mechanics. The main appeal of the movie remains to be what’s important; The characters, the interaction between Tony Stark and his life, from his girlfriend Pepper Pots to Happy Hogan to James Rhodey, the dialogue is fine and there are tons of pop culture jokes, but somehow somewhere that energy of creativity got lost into this big mess which makes the movie have an identity crisis: Is it an incredibly childish kids family movie or an entertaining action comedy thriller?

There are scenes of serious thought, only to be completely made fun of like it was an parody of itself, this whole movie feels like it was a 90s kid’s movie that makes a parody out of Iron Man, or perhaps this Is the mass commercialism of Iron Man? It’s just weird seeing characters gaining random super powers (that include the instant knowledge of Kung Fu?), Tony Stark hanging out with a little kid, becoming Mac Gyver (instead of just getting his back-up armors) and the movie happen during Christmas!

While the movie is not a spark of entertainment that Iron Man or the Avengers, it still gives show cases solid performances from the actors. Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce) alongside Eric Savin (James Badge Dale) bring the villains to live with their menacing facial play, albeit their motivations for the entire movie is questionable and weak, the Ben Kingsley theatrics we’re convincing but they are simply just sad I’m afraid. I would simply recommend fans of the series to just re-watch Iron Man again, but this movie can become a cult hit for its utter weirdness.

I KNOW, RIGHT!?! I literally got up from the sofa and gasped with my mouth wide open when I saw that!!! If you've been reading the comic series too, then you TOTALLY don't see it coming because they make you lean in a different direction.

So how did you like the game? I can't stop playing it! I've done a few matches online as well but I'm no good at online gaming and mostly just have my ass handed to me :P

I almost have all the endings unlocked. I love Shazam's ending.

Speaking of which, what is your favorite costume/character? I didn't even know about Shazam's alternate costume until I saw it in the game and I absolutely LOVE it. It looks dark but not really evil, perse. It's great!

I'm still getting used to the controls because i'm not a big game fighter out there, i prefer the gameplay mechanics of Super Smash Brothers where everyone has the same move-lists (A UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT & B UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT). S.T.A.R Labs missions are alot of fun, the story was really enjoyable but i felt the game lacked drama due to the spoilers:
Multiverse plot, but it makes the prequel comic alot better now for me
    end of spoilers.

My favorite costumes are Insurgent Green Arrow, Regime Bane, Regime Black Adam, The Arrow Green Arrow, Batman Beyond Batman, Godfall Superman, Insurgent Harley Quinn. I mean, there are alot of good designs out there but the ones the game made themselves for the characters are really inspiring, especially Regime Black Adam, i loved it. My favorite character to actually play would be Green Arrow and Wonder Woman for now.

There's a few characters that feel really stiff as you play, like Green Lantern. He's a great character but his controls make it really hard to fluidly perform combo's. I find I usually end up getting only one hit and then he sends green rocks at the enemy but since he's standing so close they go right over their head :P So while it's great they put so much thought into making each character unique, you really need to practice with each character before attempting to be any good with them. Other characters are very fluidic, like Harley Quinn. I find I just push random buttons and she's getting huge combos and cartwheeling all over the place. So there is for sure a learning curve for each character.

I do like Black Adams Regine costume as it hails back to the Egyptian theme. But he's another character that, while he's fun to play with, his animations are a little strange. Like one of his attacks is a headbutt, so usually any combo he does there's one or two headbutts in there so it just seems a little excessive. But that's minor.

S.T.A.R. Labs is fun, but some of the challenges are near impossible for me while others are way too easy. Like there was one where you had to (as Catwoman) go across the whole Bat Cave stage without being spotted by search lights or lazers, and if you just start darting forward when it starts you make it across without hitting anything. No Challenge. Then, there's ones where you have to avoid being hit by your opponent for 20 seconds and as soon as the match starts they dart forward and hit you before you can even react. And if you manage to get like 15 seconds of running away from them like a little weiner, they usually eventually get you with just a few seconds to spare.

    But overall fun :)

Yeah they are fun and some are made to be done in more than 1 attempt. I'm anxious to see what more DLC will we receive, is it just characters or perhaps more story content? Story content would be expensive (voice actors + cut scenes) but 10 bucks there and here shouldn't hurt. I have the Season Pass bought, ir eally want to support Warner Brothers games with their DC licenses, bring on Arkham Origins in October!

Also man is Marvel putting out hardcore collections out this year. John Byrne Fantastic Four volume 2 confirmed, with Jack Kirby Fantastic Four volumes 1-2 reprints coming. + Frank Miller's Daredevil.

Yeah I got the season pass as well. I'm assuming that the DLC's released eventually (besides the 4 characters included in the season pass) will just be more costumes. Which I'm fine with, assuming they are good.
