I'm hooked. I can't wait to read the zero issue. I really like the fact he is communicating with the other writers
They can say bad thing about you but you must never say bad things about yourself
I wasn't a fan of Lobdell's work with TT, but it sounds like he's going to really embrace the Superman title and unleash some Super Action! Rocafort's art looks perfect for this as well.
No mention of Wonder Woman. Hmmm...could DC have been fooling us into thinking it will have ramifications across all books? Seems like it's limited to Justice League titles.
I'm getting pretty excited about this. I just got caught up on Titans and Superboy and really dug the mini-universe Lobdell and Co have been building there. There are certainly hiccups in what we've come to expect in the early 52 books (so WHERE are those earlier incarnations of the Titans that were alluded to early on???), but those two books are a lot of fun and, knowing Lobdell's history, I imagine Superman will be too. I don't know why the H'El storyline is getting so much heat. I'm personally really excited to see the family together, expecially with Superboy's stigma as a clone "outted" to Supergirl.
Lobdell gets alot of hate in the forums but I love his work, he's a fun writer.
That being said, I'm not that much a fan of his to venture into Superman titles. Hope he stays on Red Hood, such a great book - IMO. Debating on Titans, waiting for the big villains to pop up: Brotherhood of Evil, H.I.V.E., and Fearsome Five.

Before the New 52, I followed Tim Drake's career with great interest. So naturally I ported over to Teen Titans as that was his only book after Flashpoint. I found myself buying the book every month like zombie just to get my Tim Drake fix but last month I woke up and realized the book was going N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and when they got stranded on an island with Dinosaur's I dropped the title. Hopefully Tim will get his own title again but I'm done with Teen Titans.
I pray that Lobdell's work is better on Superman, the teaser images certainly appear to be full of high octane action!
Think that would be more accurate. Seems neither the Superman or Wonder Woman solo books appear to want to deal with the new couple.
That said it seems like a right choice from my pov to put Scott on this book, as he is a guy that hunkers down and basically writes superhero stories...if it will be really good remains to be seen, since the Annual seemed to come out of nowhere and left by the same route (not to mention it brought up Helspont again...).

Third creative team and I hope he can deliver. The art for sure will be great! The Super books have been so boring and redundant. I really really am so tired of buying books that fail to deliver anything fresh. This was odd too he mentions nothing about WW. Elephant in the room? So if none of the main creators (Azz) going to talk about what took the media by storm this week, are we to wonder, is this all a gimmick for sales? Mind you are the #0 issues to be set in the past?

I'm happy to see he's going to focus on building up the supporting cast. That he's only really had Lois and Jimmy has been one of my biggest disappointments with present-day Superman. There's a wealth of characters, both civilian and superhero that either haven't shown up yet, or only showed up five years ago just begging to be used.
Because no matter what another title might want you to think, Superman's never really alone.
Other than physically besting him (backhand into the moon), I'm hopeful that Helspont will have some other means of neutralising Kryptonians without having to use red sun rays, Daem-magic or even going near Kryptonite.
And, no, I'm not saying 'create another weakness', rather that, with the knowledge he has of Kryptonians and the fact he has countered yellow-sun-powered ones before, this could be someone Superman has to get creative with.
Or they could be simply waiting to see how it develops in Justice League before touching the subject. You have to remember that all we have so far is a kiss. Before the big reveal no one would have guessed this was going to happen. Even the solicits for #13 and # 14 gave no indication of their relationship involving Cheetah except for a vague 'this will change the dynamic of the team'. The Superman title will be dealing with a crossover, Morrison's set in the past, Azzarello is doing his own thing, add the 0 issues, and the earliest development might be in December or January.
THAT is really disconcerting. I've been following right along, but I never looked at it from that perspective. Almost makes you wonder why the turnover rate is so high on this book. Are teams leaving? Are they being forced out due to sales? Superman has to be a very stressful title to work on so finding a writer with a good vision can be difficult. Why is it that they always seem to get knock out writers for Batman books that produce some of the best stories? I don't read Batman, but their fans constantly brag about how awesome their stories are...how many Superman fans say "This story was mind-blowing!"
