"Layman and Fabok take over "Detective Comics" in September..."
I don't think that's right. I think they start in October with #13.
Gee, ya think? Tim Drake had a solid solo title for over 15 years. Come on guys, it's not rocket science. People like him. After this announcement, DiDio opened the floor for questions from the audience, the first of which was about Red Robin, which DiDio then turned back to the audience asking, "Would you guys be interested in a Red Robin ongoing series?" When the crowd erupted with applause, DiDio replied "Just checking. It's something we've definitely been discussing at DC so we wanted to gauge if there is some real interest in this character, and apparently there is."
Wished Dan would have gone into a little more detail about Phantom Stranger

Yeah, but who would we get to write the title? Aren't a bunch of the writers who in the title no working for DC anymore?[/QUOTE]
It would be nice of Layman did that instead of 'Tec.
The new Justice League comic book looks cool.

Wow, you are making the assumption that he actually has any details or plans or ideas to carry the title on after his first story arc. I was really looking forward to the end of this experiment, but now, I realize that TPTB saw too many dollar signs and believe they did good. Kinda funny though, what did they change that the same creative teams could not have done with the characters everyone knew? Well, except screw the Titans and the JSA up pretty badly.
The new DETECTIVE team is launching with a Scarecrow story??? Talk about been there, done that--what is this, the 3rd or 4th appearance of the character since the re-launch? How about a good Two-Face story from somebody (I don't count that travesty of a back-up in 'TEC as one).
This should clear matters up.Originally Posted by CBR News
