“Do you guys hate him yet? Isn’t he annoying? Don’t you just wish he were dead?” Slott said, laughing. “Then we’ve done our job right.”
    HA! That's funny.

...I really hope Spider-Man 700 happens and the world DOESN'T end on Dec. 23, 2012. That would really, REALLY suck.

Who is this Kyle Yost that the writer says is working on Scarlet Spider? And how did Ryan Stegman reinvent him (aside from providing awesome art)?

And HOW IN THE WORLD does someone mess up Todd McFarlane's name as "Seth McFarlane?"

I had a letter printed once in Amazing Spider-Man #604!

Before Marvel NOW!, my pull list was 14 Marvel books. Now, it's more like 5 Marvel, 7 DC, and a few indies.

Anyone on the board who legitimately believes the world is ending in December is welcome to give me their Spider-Man collections and the contents of their bank accounts the day before. You won't be needing them, anyways, right?

It's pretty cool that they're using that French dude's collage as a variant and I'm all over the MM cover with all the names.

I'm gonna end up buying about 10 copies to get all the different covers.

It will be interesting to see the sales figures for #700 a month later.

Is there a sale on eye patches that I wasn't told about? Nick Fury. Marcus Johnson. Cable. And now... Punisher?

I rolled my eye at that. Must be so that they can see the Silence?

Really whose idea was this? They should be outed and fired.

The man who dies with the most toys wins. Nice try.

    Eye patches are like cowbell.

I thought this comment by Slott was interesting: "In some ways, fans feel the same way about Alpha as the other villains and superheroes in the Marvel universe feel about Spider-Man."

It provides some interesting insight into his thinking, but is it right? Why would other superheroes feel that way about Spider-Man?
His memory's gone! Or...is it? It's not hard to fake amnesia! The Goblin is capable of anything!

The more I read about ASM # 700, the more excited I get each time more news pops up. Next week should only excite us more it seems, and the fact that Stan Lee will be answearing 10 letters is also another great way to get us more pumped for the event.

    Jelly beans? Jelly babies SW!
Peter Parker + ' 'with great power there must also come great responsibility '' = Spider-man

The world is not going to end, that was nothing but a hoax to milk our money.

Yes, and they shot Sabra from the grassy knoll.

Life's not about having all the toys, it's about playing with all of the toys. You can't do that without spreading the love, man.

A calendar ending means nothing serious. They said it was the end of an ERA not the world. Or what, just because my 2012 calendar ends in February 2013 does that give me the right to spread moronic messages of Doomsday to frighten people?
