No wonder fun, more light hearted comics fail.

Seriously match.com? It's like they based this advertisement on combining the 2 stereotypically loneliest groups: comic fans and online daters. (Note: I don't actually think comics fans or online daters are particularly lonely.)

Come on people, if you actually read the profile things they are pretty funny, as they are intended to be. Lighten up a little, this relationship will be over in one year or less.

Alot of the information in the profiles is metatextual and actually making fun of the lame people on match.com, as well.

Take a joke for the love of humor. Kinda wish they didn't spoil the final page, but I had my warning and clicked anyway so no big.
It's not a joke if it's not funny.

I don't think its particularly funny either. That's not the point. The point is its amazing how people can take something innocent and light-hearted as this and just use it to fuel their fanboy rage. Its embarrassing as a fellow comics fan.
