Overall a great issue that is giving me a slight Terminator 2 Linda Hamilton vibe from Betty. The introduction of Eleanor was an interesting twist. I know we mentioned before that Lyra might have been the one tipping off Betty, but I can see why Parker went that way so as to provide Betty with a supporting cast distinct from the Hulk family.

I liked the cracks Captain Marvel made about not being thrilled about Hulks with jetpacks and that Betty should respect the military more.

I asked Parker if Betty’s service in the USAAF (as seen in Hulk: Season One) applies here and how Captain Marvel would react if she knew that.

    Parker responded:

Although it states at the end of the issue that #60 will be out 12/5/12, I’m pretty sure it will be 12/12/12.
I hope they make it canon, i do like the idea of Betty being ex-military.

Not much to add but RSH #60 is out next week and the preview should be up soon.

The previews are up. Machine Man seems hopeful that Betty is still a good guy.

I want total destruction, as a gift from RSH to the Avengers for Christmas.

The preview looks good and my opinion of Red She-Hulk is slightly improving after the last issue, seeing how she tried to fixed the bridge after smashing it. It shows a more complicated nature to her in a way that I'm interested in seeing. Plus, I'm actually like Machine Man for once. In the books I read that featured him (Nextwave, Earth X), I didn't really care for the character at all.

I like Betty, I just hope this series is good enough for me to stay with it.

Preview brings some hype. There is interview up on CBR with Jeff Parker, it has some pages from #61.

I might have missed that detail, but where is it that she is trying to fix the bridge? I just caught her hanging onto that cable line while the Avengers were focused on rescuing everyone.

That's because it's Machine Man with his original personality.

She's holding it together so to give them more time to rescue everyone.

I wonder if Machine Man will end up siding with Betty. If he finds out why she's doing what she's doing.

I really think he will. It will be a glorious team-up.

It's like Parker said MM is the brains and Betty is the brawn. Could go hand in hand with the rest of the series.
