As long as its not a $3.99 book, I will give it a try. I'm enjoying the other Spiderman "spinoff" books Venom and Scarlet Spider.

Love the quote coming from ASM # 698.
Peter Parker + ' 'with great power there must also come great responsibility '' = Spider-man

Wow, I'm still in shock that this is actually happening. It just seems out of nowhere, really, for Morbius to get an ongong. Sure, maybe a few scenes here and there in someone else's book, but not something just for him.

But Morbius is just one of those characters I think is so uniquely Marvel that I'm excited he's getting his chance to shine. Well, for all of you complaining that Marvel's lost its edge, here it is!

Well, I would have checked out a Morbius title regardless (love those hold Marvel Monster characters), but Joe Keatinge is definitely a clincher: his take on "Glory" is quite good, and this coming from someone who has no love for the Extreme-verse. I think they are releasing a trade of his first arc shortly, at $9.99 to boot. Check it out.

...I read this interview in the morning and still don't...seriously? One hell of a test Marvel is putting these guys through.

sweet...what's the odds of this thing making it a whole year?

why does marvel keep relaunching the same books over and over that are destined to fail?

Because there is a chance they could catch lightning in a bottle. Why should every book be Avengers, X-Men, or Spider-Man. Honestly people should be glad Marvel is trying to shake things up instead of delivering the same-old.
My Heroes For Hire: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, The Falcon, Ant-Man (Scott Lang). White Tiger IV and Powerman would be interns.

I know right!! It's like Marvel can't go six months without launching a new Morbius series. Morbius, Morbius, Morbius, every year!

I know this isn't being promoted as a "horror" comic per se, but I'm excited when either of the Big Two branch out from the straight-up superhero stuff. I hope this works out.

I'll check it out. Elson seems really fired up about it. If it mines some of the more obscure bronze age stuff it could be great.

It's a buy for me if Sanjani is his sidekick.

    Ditto.

At first I was afraid this would just another Spidey spin-off, but it sounds like they plan on bringing a nice dose of horror to the mix as well.

EDIT: Hopefully this doesn't get canceled before it's released (Thanos...)
