I know some folks mentioned the end of Hickman's run, but did anyone mention the death of Ben Grimm? That issue killed me.

I do enjoy this thread. The kid who collects spider-man is a highlight.
"It wasn't worth it."
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

To be honest...the whole idea behind it just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm adopted, and it's my mind set that my mom is my mom. Just because she didn't give birth to me has no precedence one way or the other, she was the one who raised me and taught me and loved me, and I would never want to betray that, nor do I have any interest in my bio-family, I already have my family. So the way Billy handles it just fucking irks the shit out of me. The whole "I have to find my real mom!" just...ugh. Maybe I'm just sensitive to the matter. I was so happy when Teddy brought it up in YAv2, not to rub it in his face and not to say Billy was wrong for wanting to reach out (my sister was adopted also and she reached out to her bio-family and I would never say/think that was wrong of her, to each their own.) but just the fact that a writer addressed a different aspect of it made me feel a lot better about the situation.
