wasn't Michael Avon Oeming supposed to have a series out from this line? Whatever happened to that I wonder
The print series should be coming out around this time. You should be seeing in comic book stores about now. You can also order this series at the main Archie comics website at http://www.archiecomics.com
After reading about the concept on Archie's website, this book kinda reminds me of the animated movie Next Avengers. Where an old Tony Stark trains the children of the original Avengers, that role is done by the Shield in this book.

I think that is the direction they wanted to go with this as you mention, the next generation of New Crusaders taking on the legacy of their parents in a new world where heroes are needed once again. If anyone is interested in a subscription from the site I have a code for $7 off the subscription which would be $15.29 for a one year 12 issue subscription, making it only $1.29 an issue. I am getting my subscription directly from the Archie website.
