    Not most people.
Only the millions of cycling fans across the world and the poor bastards who thought he was a decent bloke but is coming over as even a bigger cunt than what was suspected when he was suing people.

Quite frankly I consider his charity work more important than him being King Doper in a bicycle race where everybody's cheating their asses off or his personal demeanor.

I did not know too much about Lance Armstrong before the news recently. I knew he was a Tour de France champion and about his charity work for cancer research.

But it seems he used and took advantage of teammates, who were also cheaters and performance enhancing drug users? It it difficult to really know whos side to favor.

The last time I gave a shit about anyone who could ride a bike real fast, I was twelve.
And it was mostly because I wanted to see how far they could get going over a sweet jump made of milk crates and boards.

Why the (explicative deleted) did the United States Post Office give Lance Armstrong 31 million dollars?

and is there any ccorrelation between doping and the onset of ball cancer?

who should play him in the eventual movie? i'm going with Will Arnett, for now. if played more seriously, maybe Bradley Cooper.

question for our CBR posters in the UK, I was watching a piece about this and they were talking about the masseuse he sued for slander...someone made mention that the slander laws in UK tend to favor the rich and famous? can anyone clarifiy this for me?

It's the laws in England and Wales (the rules in Scotland and Northern Ireland are not as cushy for lawyers) that basically allow anyone with the right amount of money to sue anyone, so Armstrong was able to wave his considerable fortune around to sue the Times and effectively gag other cyclists who knew what Armstrong was doing.

Armstrong now stands to have the tables turned on him. Good.
