Well this sucks, can't see anyone else write Bucky as Bru did. But will try out the new direction for a few issues.

Whaaaaaaaaat? I thought Bru was staying on Winter Soldier after all this Marvel Now stuff! I'm very disapointed to read this.

Bru has had a hell of a ride with the character...he will be missed.

I wonder if Jason will have Bucky square off against Daken, Buck did kill his Mom back in the day

So I take it Bru is pretty much gone from Marvel now? Lame.
    Captain Britain re-launched.........yes please.

I wonder if Marvel was pissed about all the creator owned stuff he had been saying? Because he seemed to be pretty enthused about Winter Soldier still.

Still, Latour is an excellent voice. I'm not reading the book and still won't be, but I am confident it will be in excellent hands, even if I think it's days are probably numbered as well.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!! Bru stated he would still be writing Winter Soldier. This is horrible. Not sure who Latour is but I will give him a chance due to my love of Bucky. Hopefully another writer won't lead the title to cancellation.

A friend of mine is gonna be pissed. He was following Brubaker's Cap and WS. Those two were 2/5 of his pull list.

Dammit!!! I thought Bru said he wanted to write this series for as long as he could! Marvel execs must've had something to do with this decision. Wonder is Bru is writing anything else for Marvel after this. This was his last title.

on the bottom of that interview it says:
Jason Aaron begins writing "Winter Solider" in January with #15.

LOL so CbR doesn't know who this guy is either.

Bru has a lot of work outside comics, so I'm guessing he just needed time for WS anymore. I can't see Marvel just taking him away from it. Or there's a chance that he's going to be doing another Marvel title?
Not familiar with Latour's work, but I think him and Bru are friends, so I wonder if Ed recommended him?

If that happens I'm dropping the book immediately and that is the last thing I want to do. Daken was my nail in the coffin for Wolverine until deciding to try this new MAX series. I didn't like how Way wrote Bucky in that scenario. Daken is just one of those characters that doesn't work for me.

Indeed. I thought for sure he'd hold out, but last week's interview spelled out his desire to do creator only. It's such a shame. This was the writer who rekindled my love for Marvel and their intertwining cold war mythologies.

I hope this is not the case. I will give Jason a chance for a couple of arcs and if I still love it, I'll stick with the book until the end. As much as this was Ed's creation, the character is Marvels' property so I am extremely bummed but I understand. And won't drop the book as of #14 because of Ed's departure.

I'm thinking the book won't be cancelled. Not with the Winter Soldier storyline being the basis for the 2nd Captain America movie.

I wish Ed and Jason all the best. They will have my support on this book and others.

    Jesus Christ.

    Just... Why?

Cap I understood. But this? I mean that Cap interview even mention that he'd write WS for some time time to come.

I'm just running out of titles.
