How the new character wound up being used felt like straight up Lando. Every possible thing going nose over tail. It was all a bit much.

They made a point of showing the fake leg twice. It's either Jake the Peg attacking Unser or we're being fed a red herring. I personally think it's really Jake, so now the question is who put him up to it?

Too vulnerable, I imagine. Now that they're in bed with the Cartel, they could be targeted by other Cartels.

the fact that the some members are in hiding and have been hijacked disproves your statement that it hasn't impacted the club.

The only member that has been hijacked was Tig. Thats not impact on the club. And the other member that are in hiding are in hiding because of the Caruso hit, not because of Tig. True, witnesses to that were probably fabricated by Pope, but there is no proof as of yet that that is the case.

I also would of been interested to see how the convo between Jax and Bobby went when he told him the details about how everything had gone down, etc. in terms of the truth about the cartel.

Wait a minute... I thought that the Nomads were members of the Sons without a charter affiliation. So how could they disband?

i'm using the wrong word, the opening scene where they get their transport attacked.

they're in hiding because 2 witnesses identified Jax and Chibbs for the murder of "a black man in a suv", which is later confirmed by Unser as one of Laroy's crew (which happened in the defense of Tig after he was being chased for the murder of Pope's daughter) and 2 more for Tig in Oakland for the murder.

Ah, the ambush. That much I will give you. I didn't get that the murder was the highway shooting. But come on... that was self defense. Self defense after an attack, true... but the witnesses that came forward can be nullified by the self defense statement since the witnesses likely did not see Tigs attack. And if they did, tig was in a car at that point, not on the bike. So making a connection would be speculation at best.

Now don't get me wrong, I get that the sons are bad men. But in the context of the telling of the story of Sons of Anarchy, they are to protagonists. So don't be surprised when people like me defend them. That is the beauty of the storytelling. And the genius of Sutter.

Now don't get me wrong, I get that the sons are bad men. But in the context of the telling of the story of Sons of Anarchy, they are to protagonists. So don't be surprised when people like me defend them. That is the beauty of the storytelling. And the genius of Sutter.

See that's something which is starting to bug me. Through 4 seasons we've had very little reason to cheer the Sons on other than "the baddies are worse people". There's been no serious consequences of their actions, not really. Tig's daughter is the only event which could cause lasting damage, but given how quickly Gemma got over her rape I expect things to be pretty much back to normal by season's end.

So yeah, it's a fine show but I just wish Sutter would do more with the fact that these are not nice people. Even if that means them trying to make amends or something. I'm not sure he wants to risk upsetting the status quo, which is a shame.
