Just finished the Season 4 BluRay last night. Man, I am glad we got to re-watch the season 4 before tonight's season premiere. There were a ton of little things I forgot, and I couldn't for the life of me remember how it had left off. That final shot of season 4 with Jax and Tara at the head of the table matching the old picture of JT and Gemma... that had some impact.

The only question I have right now is... Will Opie show up and take the VP position, or will he try to leave the club? Oh, and what about Bobby? He was left hanging after Otto turned on him.

This should be good. Tuesday is Sons Day. WOO HOO!!!

Rachel Miner had an interesting day of work. And by day, I mean more like five minutes, if that.

So is Chuck Zito going to be in the gang a while? He's a legit biker. Also, he once beat up Van Damme.

Jimmy Smits was so un Jimmy Smits-like I was rubbing my eyes and doing double-takes. (though I never saw him on Dexter)

I see what you did there, and that ain't right. MAN!!! That was an intense season premiere. So much stuff (and so much sick and twisted stuff) happened that when it was over I thought, and my wife said "no way that was an hour and a half. It felt more like 20 minutes".

Tig is going to completely lose it now, I think. Either he is going to bide his time and wait for the proper moment, or he is going to go even more batshit crazy and do something only Tig could do. Either way, I wouldn't want to be Pope.

Clay looks like the events of last season aged him about 15 years. If he isn't putting on some kind of act, then he (ironically) became the physical equivalent of Piney, which is ironic. But he is still sharp headed. His reveal to the club was probably the only chance he had of both coming out of it alive, and not being kicked out of the club. And it also REALLY pissed of Jax, you could see it in his eyes. But there was nothing he could do about it. Not and keep the club from tearing itself apart.

Glad Golindo kept their side of the bargain with Bobby. And Bobby as V.P.? Good choice Jax.

All in all, I am SOOO glad the show didn't miss a step. It got right back into the thick of it. And if felt just like a straight up continuation of last season.

I can't wait to see what happens next.

Indeed...and this is not the first time that Tig has gone "off book" and done something that has endangered the club

I think that is why Jax didn't want Tig as HIS sergeant at arms. That, and he is trying to distance himself as much as possible from Clays reign. Sending the signal to the club that this isn't a "business as usual" situation. He is doing things HIS way now. Despite having to continue the Galindo deal.

I just heard an interview with him on Stern the other day. What little he could reveal is that he will be a recurring character and he will do "some pretty crazy, intense stuff".

Ive always felt that Jax and Opie are the future of SAMCRO, but with everything that Opie has gone through...I really wouldn't blame him for walking away...wife killed by Tig because they thought HE was a rat, father killed by the club president

Great season opener, I feel bad for Tig, but at the same time events lead up to this point mostly because of him and his choices. Though it would seem it's not a matter of if he gets back at Pope, but when. I'm wondering if he's also going to hold Clay partially responsible since it was also his lie that lead to this chain of events.

That seems to be the underlying theme from last season and the start now of this season. The repercussions of lies.

Anyone else notice to that Tara is becoming more and more like Gemma, right down to the way she has started to dress, not just her actions.

I wonder if Clay is going to try to repeat history, and try to take out Jax to get his club back. If so, he will have to wait until he is fully recovered. And since he dropped his bike, he aint. That part at least is not an act. He is still weak. Maybe not as weak as he lets on, but weak.

That's one thing I don't get. It's not like dressing is something a woman doesn't think about. She doesn't realize what she's doing? (BTW, I can't help noticing her butt in those jeans. Damn!)

It's only been a few since Clay was shot, right? He actually seemed to doing pretty well, considering. Though still a broken man, he's up and moving around on his own. Opie must wish he'd aimed for his head.

I don't care if it's Tig or not, somebody needs to kill Pope by season's end. Painfully.

What no Tig fans here? OK what I actually read was a little misleading, but the the stupid TV guide made it seem like Tig himself was the one that was killed, the exact words were that he "paid the ultimate price" but yeah what was done was much more horrific. I was bummed since Tig is about my favorite of the sons, and yes, Im pretty sure he'll be cutting Pope's head off as promised
