Oh, and here's the speech from Mobile Suit Gundam in English...But let's face it, Gihren is one Hell of a bastard to turn his brother's death into a rousing speech, that escalates the war effort...Also fitting since he's basically the big bad by far.

Yeah, old thread. (not too old though)

Big kudos for the acting here, the voice actress who plays Taiga did quite a good job. I'm not usually all that interested by this kind of anime but :

Memorable. Not a huge fan of Toradora but that scene works.

Humor : Hayate the combat butler, when Hayate asks Santa why he never have any presents for Christmas. I laughed for like 4 minutes straight. Really didn't see that one coming and the Japanese voice actor delivers the line perfectly.

Emotion : hmm, tough one, must be one of the scenes involving Inuyasha and Kikyo i guess. The last time Kikyo appears in the anime i would say. (can't say much more without spoiling)

Fight : Luffy vs Arlong, the whole thing was amazing.

Yeah stelok posted quite a few things I don't recognize without any indicators of what they are.

Anyway both Kiritsugu and Kariya from Fate/Zero have some very memorable moments (but I'm sure everyone on that show/novel would have a qualifying moment)

Ah yes, good one. I really loved how casually Santa says it. That's actually pretty sad when you come to think of it but well, lot of funny things are.

The ending to the Cotton Drifting Arc from Higurashi. You know the one in the hospital and monster behind the bed. The anime was creepy, but dear god the imagery with the manga is so frickin terrifying that I can never forget it.

The fight between Negi and Chao from Negima. Pretty awesome and probably the most memorable fight scene from the entire manga personally.

Luffy destorys Nami's old room from the Arlong arc in One Piece is always good, memorable scene.

I got to this thread by thinking about some awsome anime moments
    A few of them:
    HSDK:
    - as mentioned before, the part where he imitates his masters.
    - chapter 312 page 12... nothing much to say there... Apachai's badass
    - Furinji Hayato (The Elder) as Garyuu X vs. Kenichi and Miu
    - Around chapter 400, Apachai vs. Agaard

    Bleach:
    - Has to be the part where he saves Rukia from the phoenix thingi
    - First Bankai (Ichigo)
    - First hollofication (Ichigo)
    - Kenpachi vs. Nnoitora
    - Ichigo vs. ulqiourra
    - Bleach movie "Fade to Black" Kyouraku and Ukitake vs. the tentacle monster
    - Yamamoto Genryuusai vs. Kyouraku and Ukitake
    - Yamamoto Bankai
    - Vaizards appear to help the captains against Aizen and the Espada's

    Naruto:
    - First of all, it has to begin with Naruto's 1000 ninja chronicles - Naruto vs. gaara (Episodes 78-79 I think)
    - Lee's drunken fist against Kimimaru
    - Naruto vs. Sasuke when Sasuke escapes Konoha
    - Lee vs. Gai when they're trapped inside the training dummy house
    - Jiraiya vs. Pain
    - Naruto 4 tails vs. Orochimaru
    - Sandaime vs. Orochimaru
    - Itachi vs. Sasuke
    - Naruto first Fuuton: Rasen-Shuriken
    - Naruto vs. Pain

    One Piece:
    - Best attack to be shown so far (in my opinion): Zoro's Kyuutouryuu Asura
    - The war of the best (where ace and whitebeard died)
    - Nightmare luffy vs. Moria
    - Luffy vs. Enel - Luffy's Thor Axe
    - Mizu Luffy vs. Crocodile
    - Luffy's Elephant gun vs the Kraken
    - Sanji's Blue Walk
    - The rescue of Robin from CP9
    - Rayleigh coming to the rescue of Zoro

I'll add more as soon as I remember them
If I was mistaken about a name, I apologize ahead (It's late at night and I just wanted to find some badass manga)

    Let me see here...

    Dragon Ball Z:
Frieza, after emergin from his final transformationon Namek... points his finger and goes 'BANG!' with the beam passing Krillin, Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta, finding his target in.... Dende. The smoke clears, Dende is no more, and Frieza smirks and says: 'That's one down. And I didn't even break a sweat.'
Honestly, after weeks of having seen our heroes face the most terrible monsters on Namek (Dodoria, Zarbon, Recoome, Ginyu), Frieza ups the ante with his final, sleek transformation, managing to become the scariest villain the show had ever seen up to that point. I remember that this was all we were talking about in school the next day.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Asuka vs the Mass Produced EVAs. I know, I know, it's a fan favourite, and it's often used in AMVs, but it remains a powerful scene for me in its entirety, with Asuka first overcoming her insecurities and figuring out that her mother's soul is within her EVA unit all along, then she proceeds to kick ass until the replica Lance of Longinus takes her down.

Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex: It has to be te part at the end of the penultimate episode where Kusanagi is about to board the plane, and is then sniped graphically. Batou goes crazy and we linger on her wrist... to see that her beloved wristwatch is missing.
