"Thor's quest in the present does involve a bit of him playing detective, which is not a role he's typically in."

Man, i'm so pumped for this. Going by the interviews we've gotten so far, Thor is proporbly the title that has me the most excited out of all the Marvel NOW! books.

I forgot about Odin's eyepatch. So that's Nick Fury, Marcus Fury, Punisher, Cable and Odin all sporting the one-eyed look now...just because they can!

Really excited for this, in fact for the first time in a good long while I'm excited for every Avengers family book.
Looking forward to the new Kid Loki book & Morbius.

Is the viking ship crashed? I assumed from the flames that it was a viking funeral. Hard to tell from what little we see of it though.

This is one of my most anticipated books of the relaunch. With the exception of Incredible Hulk, Jason Aaron has never led me astray and I've read just about everything he's ever published (I think I may have missed out a few issues of his pre-Weapon X Wolverine work. That's it.)

That said, I wish they'd just titled the book "Thor" without tacking on the "God of Thunder" bit. Makes it seem like a miniseries.
