I really enjoyed this interview. It's always nice to hear about what creators do when they aren't writing comics. This one was a little Comics Journal-esque, I must say (and I use that as a compliment). Very good stuff.

Three books and a creator-owned thing huh?

Interesting. It stands to reason the creator-owned thing is the sci-fi book with Greg Toccini that he teased on twitter a month or two ago.

But the three books....well, I guess that's a confirmation that Remender is going to be leaving either Secret Avengers or Uncanny X-Force, given that the other two are clearly Uncanny Avengers and Captain America.

Yeah I feared that was coming. Hearing how he'll continue writing Venom in Secret Avengers not too long ago I'm thinking Uncanny X-Force which would just suck because I think it's his best work. But I think there are major changes coming to the title (Wolverine leaving? "Final Execution"? Cable coming back? Remender leaving?) He'll still write Wolverine which is good. I hope Psylocke sees her way to Uncanny Avengers but it would be interesting also if she's on a Cable-led X-Force team. I'm speculating here. Hopefully whatever book he leaves will get a great creative team. Secret Avengers has always been in flux but I want to see his storyline pay off with the Masters of Evil and Human Torch. If there are major changes they need to make sure UXF has a great writing/art team and a damn good lineup. i'd say Cable-Psylocke-AOA Nightcrawler-Deathlok-Deadpool-Domino & maybe some New Mutant/X-Force guys like Cannonball, Sunspot, Wolfsbane or Magik. They need to keep the tone dark but death doesn't have to be a big issue. Whether Wolverine or Cable leads I hope they still stick with a pre-emptive strike squad. They don't need to kill but do need to take out the bad guys and bring the battle to them.
