Katie Cook and IDW Bring "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" to Comics

Comics are about to get 20% cooler and brighter. Besides, I'm a great fan of the show as I truly do enjoy Fluttershy and Pinkie pie and even Rainbow Dash.

I going with this series as this is a better alternative than what the more SERIOUSLY VIOLENT comics are coming out these days.

It like they don't think of the children anymore.... I mean seriously...

Pretty cool. The show is exceptionally well made and the creative team is solid. Don't know if I'll bother but I wish it well.

If INFESTATION 3 could actually be about Ponies appearing in every reality, and the whole thing was played with it's tongue in its cheek as some kind of huge meta-joke about the way Ponies are infesting every corner of every messageboard of every fandom on the internet, I'd be on board with that.

If IDW is smart (especially since they made the joke) they'll do a MLP Infestation 3 one shot.

Just told my daughters (ages 7 and 4) about this. Nearly went deaf from the ear-splitting squeals of delight and the repeated requests to put this on my pull list at the LCS.

Kudos to IDW for picking up this license and making something that little girls can get into (last thing like this was the four-issue Strawberry Shortcake limited series, which my girls have read over and over until their copies look like so much shredded cabbage, much like my original Marvel Star Wars and Godzilla comic books in the late '70s did).

Daddy just got 20% cooler in the eyes of his little girls. I'll take it.
