That's the concept of the project, being that it's spearheaded by DC's west coast offices, but nothing will probably come to fruition. The real reason they probably did this project is to hold on to the copyright of the National Comics name.

No idea. Theres been no comment about it yet. If it isn't in solicitations, I'd say they've pulled it.

So they're basically erasing her entire backstory from the Outsiders? The mousy plain looking put upon nobody who gets ignored by the world and gets transformed into a statuesque beauty of a telepath/telekinetic? Seems like a waste, really.

Depends on the writer of any given vampire story if they want to use any of those old weakness', added as DC is trying to have broad appeal it might be a bit counter productive to claim a one religious symbol is somehow lethal to vampires if others aren't.

Like Blade said: "Crosses and running water don't do dick, so forget what you've seen in the movies!"

I liked her old origin also. Had hoped it survived but guess not. Though the original costume was a bit on the fugly side.

I wonder how if at all this'll jibe with her and Batman Inc? Looker's already shown up essentially unchanged in Batman Inc since the reboot. Of course most will say that's because it's Bat-continuity but that's a rather cheap answer, though technically true.

I think National Comics is out of continuity. They have a Madame Xanadu issue coming up that looks to be nothing like Xanadu's current character in Justice League Dark.
