    Thanks for the plug, Brigid!
I saw the link and came to read about Jamal's project. Love his work!
Was happy to see Dreamland up there as well.

None of these caught my eye but I discovered a very cool Monster hardcover that I'm backing right now and have several things on the way that have completed funding (the Palmiotti virus book, the Cerebus digital conversions, etc.) . One thing I notice is that backing so many things that aren't out for months takes the steam out of future donations for me, that's the part of it that feels like a donation, since even with a pull list I don't give my money months in advance.

I definitely learned a lot about the pricing levels too, people just want to pay what a t-shirt would cost plus shipping, not a t-shirt plus shipping plus enough for you to emboss the hardcover they aren't getting etc. It's a ton of work so congrats to everybody who's been able to fund their projects.

Re: the submission process, the number of companies that don't respond in a reasonable amount of time probably has a lot of folks ignoring that process, along with the fact that they often seem to favor mediocre projects by names established in and outside of comics.

We ended the Flaming Carrot kickstarter campaign hitting 333% of goal. But a lot of people missed out on the kickstarter and ended up at support@bobburdencomics.com on Bob's website to order what they wanted. As soon as we opened our online store at the beginning of January, the orders were waiting for us...and they have already been shipped out. :)
