Absolutely no cartoon-like or Adam West-like criminal henchmen who are all made to dress a certain way, ala Penguin's Circus Gang and Mr. Freeze's thugs on ice skates, or the bizarre Sugar & Spice girlfriends from "Batman Forever." Henchmen are fine, just not goofy ones.

What about Harley Quinn? Or to a lesser extent Lar, Moe, and Cur?
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!

Well, that's different. I would definitely like to see Harley Quinn. She's a singular over the top character like the Joker. But if she had a gang of followers who all had to dress similar to her, no.

I think I could easily do without them.

I'd prefer if they avoided the stories/plot elements which were covered in the Nolan trilogy. These include-the origin/early years, Batman's conflict with Ra's al Ghul and the League of Shadows, Bane and the back-braking, Joker's first appearance, Catwoman-Batman relationship/team-up, the whole Harvey Dent/Two Face arc etc.

    NOTHING to do with Peinguin.

Some things I'd like to see in the next iteration of Batman films:

    • A real murder mystery with multiple suspects that really allow us to see the World's Greatest Detective.
    • Batman as a Bond-esque, globe-trotting adventurer, with the Hairy-Chested-Love-God Bruce.
    • A world where actual super-powers/villains are just starting to become a reality.
    • Building the Bat-family and making that a thematic driving force behind Bruce's actions.

I don't want to see new versions of any of the villains from the Nolan Batman films; I feel Ra's, Scarecrow, Joker, Two-Face, Bane, and Catwoman can stay on the back-burner for another decade or so. I wouldn't mind seeing new film interpretations of The Penguin, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, and Poison Ivy though.

There are also plenty of new villains I'd like to see a Batman movie tackle: Killer Croc, Catman, Deadshot, Clayface, Hugo Strange, as well as Morrison villains like Dr. Hurt, Pyg, and Flamingo.

    I agree with the end-statement ;D

Not sure if I'll be able to handle another Batman film after how good the Nolan trilogy was, but if there was a reboot I'd want:
-Loose continuity so it could maybe fit in with the Nolan movies
    -No origin
    -Nightwing, established Bat Family
-No as real as Nolan's but not as 'out there' as the Burton or 90s movies
    -No camp

I don't want to see any poorly thought out characters play an important role in the film. Rachel Dawes was terrible and John Blake was unimpressive.

I also think for a reboot to be successful, one needs to move as far away from Nolan's as possible. No Nolan themes or stories.

If they made a Batman reboot I'd only want it to be in preparation for a Justice League film and if it was I'd like it to be as far away from Nolan as possible. And even with that I'd want some time between them a good five years or so.

Detective story. I am sick of that part of Batman being overlooked or just glossed over. Sure he is a badass but he is the world finest detective. Lets see that for once.
