X-23 with Summer Glau as the lead. Just a random thought for the tv show.

Not too sure if a Black Widow or Hawkeye series could work. They are movie actors so I'm not sure if they would consider this a step down. If they found tv replacements for the characters, people might like those more than the movie versions. I'm betting its something completely original to open up the universe more without having to explain everything in detail in the movies.

You think that maybe when Coulson was sent to the armory that he activated the LMD who then grabbed the gun? Coulson had to know he was out of his league going in to confront Loki with a weapon that was completely unknown to him.

My very favourite thing that is guaranteed to happen at least once during a Whedon thread is when a fan of the man's work gets very exuberant, talks about how he's their favourite writer and they've seen/read everything he's ever done and with him attached nothing can go wrong, and then they top it all off...

    ...by calling him "Josh."

    Cracks me UP.

I'm hoping for Heroes for Hire but I'll be giving this a chance whatever it is.

This would make the most sense, or perhaps an Ultimate style Defenders series.

But there's no vampire series like Tomb of Dracula. I think it should be like the old Dark Shadows series and modern Brit sci-fi shows like Torchwood.

Wooo, now we know where three of those five Loners votes have come from! Lol. This one, me, and nate-grey. ;P

I saw that; I'm not really familiar with the character, but I'd be up for watching such a series!

Also, no corny one-liners? Have you seen Whedon's TV shows? ;P

Yeah, they did good giving Dollhouse a second season at least, because MY GOSH it got so much better in the second one. I missed some of the higher tech the secret agency was using (they had to make the show on a shoestring budget by then), but the stories were much better overall. Alan Tudyk gave us yet another classic Whedon character in Alpha, Topher Brink proved to be the most Buffyverse-ish of them all, and all the actors had their A-Game on (especially Enver Gjokaj, who I can honestly say surprised me with his dead-on impersonations, including a hilarious one of Fran Kranz's Topher Brink). The people on Dollhouse are much more talented than mainstream entertainment gives them credit for, but then that's Joss-selected talent for you.

And yes, it's always weird when someone calls him "Josh" -- I'm like "wtf? Who is Josh??" ;P

Given that most of the actors probably would not want to sink to TV at this point in their careers, I doubt we'll see a solo Avengers show. A teen show would be really cool since Whedon has so much experience with it, and your choices are naturally at the top of my list as well.
Of course they are, because you are awesome. ;P

Special effects are a lot cheaper to do now than they used to be, and Whedon used to be really good about getting good TV effects done on a budget anyway. Most of the kids don't have obvious mutations that can't be covered up in some way. Skin could have greater control except when stressed to reduce the unnecessary prosthetics, and Chamber could stay covered up most of the time until a dire situation requires his powers. Penance would be the main problem, but only having one character needing to stay in costume the whole time is not that bad. Moral is this show would be incredible!!
And Penance wouldn't even be a huge problem; she's so anti-social/shy that she'd mostly be a recurring guest star and have very short scenes, maybe with a solo focus episode or team-up with Jubilee episode in the first season.

It could create two factions of fans to argue over the final outcome: suits vs. non-suits, it would be a water cooler success! The support group idea would work well on TV, and every episode could be opened and closed with a group meeting discussing the episode events and implications on their sobriety.
That's true; the beginning-and-end support group/confessional idea really lends itself more to television than it ever did comics. ;)

I remember hearing before that Cloak and Dagger,Hulk, and Punisher shows were in the works. Also that the Cloak and Dagger one was being fast tracked for ABC family. Del toro is directing Hulk and they are waiting on some Mysterious Writes,I wouldnt mind it being Whedon.Pretty sure the show is for ABC too.

If its a show we havent heard yet Id prefer Hero's for Hire. Gunn from Angel could Play Cage if he beefs up a bit. Hes the right complextion, looks good bald, and hes tall enough. Most the actors that come up quick for Cage is Michael Jai White, and Mike Clark Duncan. Michael Jai white is too short, I love him but hes way too short. And MCD is just too old, dark, and chubby. I mean hes buff but hes chubby too. Terry Crews would be perfect, but hes in High demand. Hes a little darker then Cage is in Modern Comics but he would be the best option looks wise. But the guy who played Gunn in Angel would have a rapport with Joss already.

I think Hero' for Hire would be great because the Cage,IronFist partnership is one of the best in Comics. They are the ultimate odd couple, complete opposites. Yet they form the ultimate bond. Then they dont start off as the most noble of hero's. The series would show them evolve from ,heros who rarely help anyone without being paid(Mostly on Cage). To the Hero's they become. I mean Cage goes from a Criminal at one point in his life to eventualy being chosen by Captain America to be the leader of the New Avengers. A complete transformation of character. IronFist is interesting enough to carry a show on himself too but put them together and it will be great i think. Plus you have White Tiger,Misty Knight,Colleen Wing,shang-chi in re-occuring roles. Jessica Jones would have to be in it of course. Then theres Black Knight,Hercules,Black cat,Humbug,Paladin, tarantula who could make appearances. Then you have bigger names who work with them in the comics from time to time. Deadpool,She-Hulk,Spider-Woman,Black Panther,Black Widow,Punisher,Ant-man(scott-lang)Moon Knight. The others who could probaly never show up Hulk,Spider-man,Ghost Rider etc..

The shows I really want but would never happen is The Black Panther. The Movie keeps getting put on the back Burners. So id settle for a tv show at this point.

Question: Does Fox/Sony Own All Live action right to the properties they own X-men,F4,Daredevil(fox) SPider-man(sony),or just Movie rights?

Excellent news. Can't imagine the amount of hype that'll surround the world when Avengers 2 starts off with its first teaser trailer and then the momentum builds from there. That won't be for a long time but happy to know Joss will be returning.

Heroes for Hire is a natural choice, but when you say Joss Whedon, that pretty much means a female lead, in my head, especially if he's helming a connected franchise that's female-light. He might do Heroes for Hire, with Misty and Colleen, but I'd put even odds on him doing Carol Danvers with SWORD, especially since Abigail Brand is his very own creation from the comics. That way they can have case-by-case type things without people wondering where is Nick Fury and Maria Hill and the Helicarrier all the time. Plus, the Kree-Skrull war makes for a nice TV Show premise, one that's not likely to be covered in the films.

he'd probably choose Mockingbird; given the similarities to Buffy.
