Breaking news: It was just announced on the Walt Disney Investors Conference Call that Joss Whedon will return for The Avengers sequel. Whedon is signed to both write and direct the upcoming sequel. Disney confirmed that Whedon is also involved in the development of the long-lead ABC live-action television series which will be set inside the Marvel cinematic universe. More info as we get it.

hmm I wonder what the deal with the TV show is. Didn't sound like they were adapting anything, but it was set in the universe.

Happy for any and all recognition Joss gets. Glad to hear he's going to be back for Avengers 2. I wonder, though...will he do something else in between.
I'm also happy to hear his involvement with whatever TV show is being produced. Joss TV = Awesome TV!Olivier Coipel - The best damned artist on the planet!
