Default Why is "The Avengers" no longer being tracked?

was slightly annoyed that at "Boxofficemojo" they no longer seem to be tracking The Avengers daily box office...it seems it made a half a million over the weekend, but so far today and all of last week is 'empty"...heck they're still tracking the freaking "hunger games'...so is disney/marvel no longer keep track? seems a bit early

I see it on their list. Its at #20 which curiously puts it behind Hunger Games. It also appears it was behind Hunger Games last week which is also odd. I guess Avengers was slightly more front loaded???????
Price your book at $3.99 and I'll trade wait. Make me wait too long for the trade PAPERback and I'll say screw it. I'm looking at you Marvel and Spider Island.

It's been out for 13 weeks. Its theater count must be pretty low by now, and other movies have captured the public's attention. Y'know, just like with every summer blockbuster ever.

I just looked today and I don't see it now. Oddly enough, Three Stooges is still being tracked. Hmm.

I am curious how it will track with Japan. I know that can be a big market and I don't think it opened there yet, waiting for sometime in August (maybe this weekend).

yeah, I KNOW Avengers would be up another million or two and be in place to surpass 'Forrest Gump" on the adjusted all time list

....wonder if it's a coincidence then that they are 'holding" avengers at "616" million?

If theaters are no longer showing it, than it's not going to be tracked.

It made a 1.5 billion, they probably figure adding another 500k isn't going to make a difference.

I just happened to see on Box Office Mojo that Avengers is still being tracked; it made $268,00 over the weekend in 220 theaters. It may just be being tracked over the weekends.

Has it not been released in Japan yet then? That's at least another 50 million.

I honestly don't know if I am correct or not. It could be that they only track the top 20 during the week and track everything in theaters from the weekend.
