I like The Wrath because his origin so closely parallels Batman's; that and there is a reason for Gordon to be concentrated on in the story.

In an ideal world maybe someone like David Lynch or Darren Aronofsky.

Definitely Hush/Heart of Hush. I like at least a slight touch of realism like Nolan used, and Hush's costume is pretty low-tech and simple despite his intensity as a villain.

Using all the villains featured in the stories would be overkill, but I'd love to see the scene where Gordon stops Batman from killing the Joker. Also, there is some young blonde up and coming actress out there just waiting to sink her teeth into Harley Quinn.

The inclusion of Superman in a limited capacity might be dependent on whether the Justice League movie ever gets made, but the scene in which he finds the implant in Batman's neck and Batman tells him to burn it out is a great friendship moment between those two.

Most importantly though, the place this story takes Bruce and Selina's relationship would provide the best romance angle yet seen in any Batman film.

I'd like to see a Batman: Year Three type adaptation with Azrael playing the role of the Reaper. The Court of Owls story could also work.

Using aspects of Hush might work similar to how Nolan used bits and pieces of various stories like Knightfall, The Cult, DKR, Year One and NML.

Doing a straight-up adaptation would probably just confuse a movie audience. There would be too many characters to introduce.

I would like to know how the events of Knighfall fit in. I take it from the first story arc in The Dark Knight that something along the lines of those events has happened but in this continuity, was Batman's back broken and does/did John Paul valley exist and take the Batman mantle for a time? If so, It would be cool to see a modern interpretation of Valley's bat-suit.

I would not ever watch a Batman: Hush movie.

Not even for a RiffTrax version.

I think Hush is the best way to keep the Nolan continuity going. Blake has been operating as Batman or Nightwing and suddenly Bruce Wayne re-emerges from nowhere. His detective work tells Blake it isn't the real Bruce Wayne but Hush. Then the real Bruce Wayne returns to out the impostor and preserve his family's good name.

That sounds just as bad as the comic.

I'd like to see them actually do Knightfall and the Azrael, etc. as a full piece.

I'll second this. I personally don't want to see Batman on film at least for the next decade. Nolan's trilogy was phenomenal. If I had to choose, it'd be maybe one long film that followed Miller's story. Hell, bring back Christian Bale and dye his hair grey. Personally, I think it's too soon to even conjure up another set of films.
