I don't agree that JTG is a good wrestler, but he can talk a bit. Wasn't there a thing where he was Tyson Kidd's manager for a week on Superstars or something? In the context of WWE, that might be his only shot at a long-term role.

He's nothing special, but he's better than ryback and Brodus, and titus actually.

    Hogan and Nash speak.

That was an hour. It was detailed in the Death of WCW book how dumb that was.

I also kind of like how Nash conveniently avoids the fact that one of his best friends is a "vanilla midget" and was the reason Nash even got his job in WWE.
Eh, Comics is a pretty cool guy...

I find it interesting that the guys who are upset about the low pay for lower card guys are guys that would have already been released any other year and are most likely the reason for the low pay. WWE probably decided since they couldn't just cut the dead weight contracts to lower costs like they normally do they would pay less across the board for mid to low card talent to try to make up the difference.

TMZ has posted an update to their story from earlier this week about former WWE talent Jackson Andrews (Andy Slocum) being accused of abusing his WWE Diva girlfriend Rosa Mendes. TMZ now reports that Andrews has been engaged to another woman for years and this woman was not aware of his relationship with Rosa. From TMZ:

"Andy Slocum's week has gone from bad to worse ... 'cause AFTER the former WWE talent was accused of beating his fiancee Rosa Mendes in Vegas ...his OTHER fiancee in Texas dumped his two-timing ass ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... Slocum -- who wrestled under the name Jackson Andrews -- was named in a police report filed by Mendes, in which she claims Slocum beat her up on multiple occasions in the home they shared together in Vegas.

But the story REALLY came as a shock to a woman named Amber Stovall ... who thought she was EXCLUSIVELY engaged to Slocum ... who she had been dating for the past 4-and-a-half years.

“I was not aware of his double life with Rosa," Amber tells us ... adding, "I'm incredibly angry and I feel betrayed."

Amber -- who says the two shared a home in Houston and have two bulldogs -- tells us, "I was blindsided by the TMZ story. He had just flown me out to Vegas the weekend after July 4th and we made plans for him to return home to Houston at the end of August. “

For the record, Rosa -- who's a WWE Diva -- was in Texas on the weekend after July 4th ... when he flew Amber to Vegas. Basically, he pulled off a fiancee switcheroo.

Despite the lies, Amber insists Slocum was never violent with her ... telling us, "He's never even raised his voice to me."

Obviously, Amber has since called off the engagement ... noting, "He has not reached out to me despite my efforts to contact him since I found out about Rosa. So as of today, I have cut off all joint accounts which includes his cell phone."

Multiple calls to Andrews have not been returned ... and maybe now we know why."

Following Kevin Nash's comments on Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero ("When Benoit and Guerrero hugged [at the end of WrestleMania XX], that was the end of the business."), he and Chris Jericho got into a bit of a back and forth on Twitter. Here are their posts and some comments from Roddy Piper and MVP…

Jericho: "Funny how @realkevinnash says wrestling 'died' when Benoit and Guerrero were champs-Yet the worst year for WWE biz was 95 when he was on top."

Nash: "Once again the puppet master pulls the marks strings. Knew Jericho was a closet mark. First one eliminated on a bullshit sing show...REALLY!!"

Jericho: "Hope @realkevinnash doesn't tear his quad tweeting! #typicalbigman #nwothirdwheel."

Roddy Piper: "HOW CAN YOU NOT DIG JERICHO"

MVP: "Kevin Nash is right. Smaller guys don't draw. I mean who would pay any money to watch itty bitty guys like Mayweather or Paquiao?"

"Let the record show, I LIKE @RealKevinNash he's always been cool to me. I just don't agree with his opinion. Doesn't mean we're hostile."

"I'm not upset at all. I just sarcastically expressed a difference of opinion. Nash has always been real cool to me."

Earlier this week, we reported that French wrestler Tom La Ruffa has signed a developmental deal with WWE. Samuel Balmeur of France's Planete Catch monthly wrestling magazine, sent in word that WWE has also signed fellow French wrestler Lucas Di Leo. The news has been confirmed by Di Leo's promoter.

    - WWE will hold a Raw live event in Hartford, Connecticut at XL Center on Saturday, October 21, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.

    - Ezekiel Jackson, who WWE has not utilized in recent weeks, stated on Twitter that he will be returning to the ring "soon."

    - WWE Hall of Famer George "The Animal" Steele is today's featured Superstar on WWE.com.

    - The Wrestling Observer has compiled data on the most popular or most talked about professional wrestling performers in the first six months of 2012, based on Google activity and searches, and among female wrestling talent, AJ garnered the most interest in the United States by a considerable margin. She is trailed by Eve Torres, Velvet Sky, Vickie Guerrero, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James and Gail Kim. No other female talents gained substantial interest.

Though not foolproof, the rankings are a good gauge of how "over" somebody legitimately is with the general public.
