Zack Ryder just mentioned that his friend the Big O has a tryout with WWE soon.

Hope it goes well, can always use another Jewish Broski in WWE.

I think they already signed everyone that they had a shot at when Hulk and Bischoff came in (Anderson, Hardy, RVD). Once you get past those guys, either you have an idea for someone in particular, or you think that you can build someone into something. They've already tried with the "name" guys, TNA's better off doing the Gut Check thing to bring in new talent since no one outside of Angle (and maybe Hardy) has made any difference to their product.

I think it's debatebly hardy has done shit, they haven't had a big ppv since angle/joe, he doesn't nothing for ratings, and is good for what, 2000 extra ppv buys maybe?
    Does that recoup his cost?
Their merch sales dropped pretty heavily when don west left, which i found to be amazing, guy must have been a hell of a salesmen at house shows.

Well, we've had the Hardy debate before. He sells more merchandise than anyone else in the company. It's entirely possible that that is meaningful financially for TNA, regardless of ratings or PPV buys. Whether or not he's capable of wrestling a great match doesn't even matter any more as long as they've got new Hardy shirts and arm-pantyhose to sell to his fans every so often.

What's not debatable is that the other guys TNA brought in are all of less importance to TNA's overall picture than Jeff Hardy is, and that includes people that fans had heard of before. So they should just bring in people through Gut Check cheaply and with a built-in mechanism to introduce the new wrestlers to their audience.

The thing is though, the impact zone isn't a hot crowd, they get in for free and are often the same people. TNA house shows are doing about 2-300 people, and multiple people in the company are saying they are selling much less merch since they lost don west.
So, he may be selling the most merch, but you are comparing him selling a little bit of merch to everyone else selling next to no or no merch.
