That's the point. Trying to be controversial by telling everyone you're controversial is dumb. You actually have to back up those words, and even then it's a silly pursuit.
The day WWE relies on the Miz to make money would be their most controversial day.

-- The talk at last night's WWE TLC PPV was that WWE was bringing in a few older faces for the Slammy Awards.
While some of the appearances may just be cameos, this may be the first step in bringing back some older named to help fill out the roster.
In what could provided an interesting new measurement for professional wrestling—Nielson has partnered with Twitter to create a new "Nielsen Twitter TV Ranking."
CNET.com reports,
"that will rank TV shows based on the Twitter activity of the micro blogging site's 140 million active users. Twitter users send 1 billion tweets every two and a half days, according to a press release. It will be available for marketers to tap into at the beginning of the 2013 fall TV season."
Speaking through his official Twitter account, WWE commentator/backstage interviewer Matt Striker noted that there are a lot of unexpected guests scheduled for tonight’s WWE Slammy Awards edition of WWE RAW.
As mentioned earlier on the website, the talk at last night’s WWE: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view event was that the company will be bringing in a few older faces for tonight’s WWE Slammy Awards edition of WWE RAW, for cameos at least. There have been rumblings about the company bringing back some old names to add to the roster and help young talent.
