The New York Times has a new article up looking at Linda McMahon's Senate campaign, noting that in the past three years she has spent close to $100 million of her own money on her campaigns, including the one that failed in 2010. The Times wrote:

"Ms. McMahon may or may not get to influence job creation as a senator. But she has already made an impact on the Connecticut economy by dishing out close to $100 million for two Senate races over the past three years, far more than anyone has ever spent of their own money to win any federal seat. She has long since blown by the $72 million Ross Perot spent of his own money on presidential bids in 1992 and 1996."

    - We noted a few weeks back that a top WWE Superstar lashed out at Vince McMahon backstage, pointing out that WWE's product was in trouble, the ratings were bad and Vince himself may be out of touch. Word now is that John Cena was the one to speak out.

    - WWE officials are now considering adding another traditional elimination Survivor Series match to the Survivor Series pay-per-view later this month. With Team Punk vs. Team Foley featuring top stars, the second match will likely feature midcarders.

That would be kind of surprising if Cena was the guy who spoke out. Maybe even he's aware that too many big stories go through him?
Eh, Comics is a pretty cool guy...

In a way it's not surprising because he's one of the guys that can get away with it.

It it were say Justin Gabriel or something, it potentially puts him in the dog house.

Pretty true. I don't think there are many other people in the company that can lash out at Vince and survive

I don't buy it, Cena has never been anything other than the company man.
You've heard some of the shitty promos that guy has delivered, if he can't even change the script, he isn't screaming at the boss.

Those could be unrelated, though. Just because Cena can't write up a better script than the backstage guys doesn't necessarily mean he isn't aware the product is crap.

The product is the same as it's been for years, the reason ratings are down is because Raw is 3 hours and football is on.
Raw could be the greatest show on earth and the rating would be down now, people won't watch 3 hours of Raw. They stopped watching 3 hours of Nitro when wrestler was twice as popular.

Well I still think the product isn't that stellar and needs to improve, but yeah the 3 hour Raws aren't going to do them any favors. I don't see the 3 hour format sticking for very long.

The product wasn't stellar last year or the year before either.
Rating was going up until they went 3 hours though.

The jump to three hours hurt the ratings because it exposed how shitty the product was.

Agreed. The move to 3 hours was a dumb move for a lot of reasons.

The sad thing is, everyone was assuming they were getting a shitton of money for it and that's why they did it, but they just had their finacials come out, and they are making little to nothing extra.
So they are doing an extra hour and losing audience for literaly no benefit.

If it were someone like say Punk then yes I can buy that news but company man Cena being the one to speak out, sorry but thats enough to make me want to call BS on that report

Yeah, it's hard to buy the story if Cena is the guy who spoke up. If it was Punk, HHH, or Taker (if he was still around that is) then I could buy it a little more.
