A team of wonderman, sersi, and photon triumverate leadig the various c and d level characters would put the fear of bob into both teams.
I'd rather they just made them the Champions or a new Order, which isn't a bad idea really.

Actually the Order is a MUCH better name than "Revengers". If they were a team that decided to be better than the Avengers instead of just dismantling the group I could buy it. There are other ways to do business than how the Avengers have conducted things over the past few years. Civil War wouldn't have happened if all of the heroes just banded together. AvX wouldn't be happening if Cap would've chilled out and genuinely tried to be diplomatic about things.

I support this ideia. Simon's Hollywood superstar slash world reknowened super-hero makes him so unique. I'd love for him to be the linchpin of some kind of losser structured west coast based super-hero team. The Order could serve this purpose. Get a couple of the most intresting survivors of the post civil war team Find some west coast based wild cards (Shroud, Jennifer Kale, Michael Collins Deathlok, Arachne - or Madame Web -, Ricochet, Century, a re-vamped War Machine, Firebird, a new Black Goliath, etc...) and let them go to town. The tone could be completely different from the Avengers (much more similar, I'd think to the NA), and yet, equally intresting. If anything, Simon needs to find a way to put his life back on track. Be it on Avengers, or somewhere else.

    Peace

    Corrected.

After all, poor Simon is just a sentient ball of ionic energy at their mercy!

No, not really. Also, T'Challa is more reasonable than Simon, so I don't think he would go the route Simon did. He'd basically tell them to leave him alone and to never contact him or Wakanda ever again. He still has a great deal of respect for his fellow Avengers (Cap, Tony, etc.), so why should he join up with someone who just wants to beat the hell out of them in order to prove he's right?

Recent Story Lines aside, I'd often thought it would be cool if Simon and T'challa had sort of a Clark and Bruce Friendship.

Simon was written pretty stupid during his Revenger stuff, instead of shutting off what you critizice, why don't put anoter group and do the things different than the Avengers. His resolution is like no more police man because there are too much crime or corruption in some one. For Black Panther, he is more reasonable to pick an aliance with this nuts who Bendis rewrite of nowhere.

Simon was pretty clearly messed up through all that.... Leaking ionic energy all over the place, Doubting whether he was real or something Wanda whipped Up. He really wasn't himself

T'challa isn't exactly arch-enemies of the X-Men, at least all of them. But I am guessing he will NEVER forgive Namor.

Simon's current actions will hopefully be explained and corrected by Hickman or Remender soon when he rejoins the team (right? right? wink wink!)

Yeah, Simon has an obvious "out" for his behavior.

Really, all ionic beings lose it now and then. It has happened to Simon before.

Did it start with Nefaria during Busiek's run? Or do we count the end of Force Works?

I think his power levels were missing with his head when he had his own title for a period of time (around the time of Infinity War if I recall correctly).

I think anger was effecting his power levels, or something like that.
