Default Would it be interesting if Wonder Man and Black Panther joined forces?

I find Wonder man's hate of the avengers interesting. I thought the team he came up with just wasn't that great, though. Black Panther has now declared the x-men his enemies and the Avengers are actually intergrating with the X-men come Marvel NOW! With such disrespect in a few months time, should Wonderman recruit Panther as a new team that isn't on board with the Avengers or X-men? Wonder man's brawn with Panthers smarts would be a nasty combination. Obviously this isn't a team that would happen right away since some others need to be recruited in an organic fashion (like Uncanny Avengers severly screwing up someone else's life).

    Let's discuss!!

I could see Shuri being angry enough at the X-Men to do sort of a villianous heel turn, but not T'Challa.

That said, I'm assuming Wonder Man will do a face turn and be a hero again sometimes down the line anyways.

In theory, I do think T'Challa and Wonder Man make an intesting combo because they're SORT OF a Batman/Superman analogue. Not quite as fun as Sentry/Moon Knight though (since they're marvels Superman/Batman only both insane).

But Simon already has a bromance with Beast... so T'Challa will likely have to find his male bonding elsewhere.

But in this case it wouldn't be so - the two characters in the OP becoming full fledged villains ideologically opposed to the NOW status quo would be quite interesting.

I'd be interested to see Simon do anything besides act crazy at this point.

Hopefully he gets plenty of screen time once the NOW! era hits... *fingers crossed*

Did Black Panther declare X-Men enemies of the state? Can he do that? Shuri is the queen.

I think T'challa can damn well do what he wants lol.

Black Panther and Wonderman did have a mini friendship in EMH with T'challa trying (and succeeding) to turning him back to the good side.

It would be interesting to see Wonder Man join up with a revived Michael Korvac. Or what if he went after that A.I.M. kid that Ms. Marvel was trying to help?

Rumors have it, both will actually be part of Hickman's 18. I, for one, am keeping my fingers crossed.

    Peace

It's possible that T'Challa wasn't actually the one that made that call. Shuri said that X-Men were enemies of Wakanda... but he didn't say he himself made that ruling.

That said, I imagine as a member of the royal family he's got a lot of influence. And I can't imagine Shuri disagreeing. If anything he's probably trying to hold her back from sending out Wakandan armies to hunt down Atlanteans and X-Men. That's just a guess on my part... but she seems the more hot headed of the two (though in the same breath she seems more mellow these days).

It's something that could be done, but it would turn Black Panther 'villainous' as those stories always end up showing the Avengers as the good guys and the others being unreasonable or taking their complaints too far

honestly, give simon the big guns of the avengers that aren't being used into his revengers...and force the avengers and the x-men to team up to stop them.

A team of wonderman, sersi, and photon triumverate leadig the various c and d level characters would put the fear of bob into both teams.

Yeah BP is still a royal he can probably be over ruled by his sister but I bet he can make a decree if he wants.
