Default Amazing Spider-man #300 Grading help

I've been going through all my old comics and wondered if anyone can give me advice and help with grading? I don't know which ones are worth sending to be graded and which I should just sell as is. So attached are a few pictures of my issue of Amazing Spider-man #300. Any help or advice would be nice, if more pics are needed please tell me what I need and I'll post them.

    Thank you,
    Jon

Looks like a VF-VF+ to me...or 8.0 to 8.5. The back cover shows a fairly conspicuous ding in the spine....

I use the following grading scale as a guide. http://www.nostomania.com/servlets/c...icsGradingMain

Remember that grading is subjective...one person's 8.5 might be another person's 7.0. If you're selling, and you're not absolutely sure, it may be safer to slightly undergrade to prevent negative feedback. Also, provide several clear, large scans which provide potential buyers with ample opportunities to draw grading conclusions for themselves.

I concur, and would only add that based on your photos, the page quality appears to be a very nice Off-white - White. Nice book.

It has been bagged since it was read long ago. I forgot I had most of these till I unpacked an old box. I have some more to look over as well, this was just the one that I'm debating getting in graded and sealed.

for what purpose are you going to get it CGC'd? are you looking to resell it? i got one in similar condition in a large Spidey lot for peanuts. Never know why people will pay big bucks for modern Marvel comics.

if you have New Mutants #98 (1st Deadpool) that one is also worth a bit.

I wouldn't bother to have it slabbed...buyers prefer a NM unslabbed copy which goes for around $100 or so. There isn't much of a premium added to slabbed books in VF unless they're really old.

PS I still don't own this book having passed up on it yet again for the zillionth time

I agree with Jezebel....ASM 300 looks VF to VF+. I have seen em go for as low as $70 and high as $100 on ebay in such shape. If the Batman Killing Joke book is a first print (and in very nice shape) it can also go for anywhere from $15-25. Ditto for the Wolverine #1

Again, pass on grading it if its in the VF range. Those who want the best will only seek near mint copies or better...us average shmoes who love Spidey but still want a copy would prefer it unslabbed so we can read it still. I snagged mine for $60 over a year ago and it is in similar shape to yours. Slabbing a few of these books you listed might get you a tad more in value should you want to sell but probably just enough to cover the grading costs, if your lucky. So really, not worth it.

Thank you all, I plan to keep the Spider-man and sell the rest, I'm not a huge fan of the rest but Spider-man has always been a favorite of mine. Thank you for the grading advice, I thought the serious collectors wouldn't even look at my books on ebay if I didn't grade them. I'll give them a shot if anyone wants one or interested I will be posting them for sale monday night. Need plenty of pictures and such. Will sell them to any of you if you want as well.
