I dont know if Phantom Stranger is actually going to be a horror book, I am getting it though. I think Didio gets a bad rap, Omac was great. Bela Lugosi doesnt come out all that often. If your looking for a monthly that isnt it. Evil Ernie just looks twisted to me, but maybe that is the kind of horror book you like (also its just a 4 issue minnie series). Along with Scary there is also Eerie, you could alternate months. Zenescope has Grim Fairy Tales Sleepy Hollow "Headless Horsemen" kicking off in October too.

I definitely recommend the Wonderland series, from Zenescope. The first issue of the ongoing was just released, so you can pick it up from there.

    That is what "recommend" means.

It's a dark, twisted, gory, sexy, version of Wonderland, in which Alice's daughter has to escape Wonderland and keep it's madness from spilling into the real world.

The main character is Amethyst. My little sister used to read Amethyst. You would be better served to pick up Conan or Red Sonja Rise of Atlantis if you want a good Sword book. Conan is great, and so was Queen Sonja, so I have high hopes for Rise of Atlantis.

As to Zenescope and Grim Fairy Tales, they are good books, good art, and have the horror bent you are looking for. I can second Wonderland as fitting the bill. Sometimes the covers are a bit misleading as they tend to side with tittilation, but the inside of the books are rock solid. I have only read Wonderland #1, and it was ALOT darker than I was expecting.

I am going to go out on a limb abd say (Nope). Why not give Lot 13 a try? Isnt it supposed to be a 12 issue series? There are alot of horror books out there at the moment, and alot better books than either Talon or Sword and Sorcery. Give Invincible a try!
